Johnys Micro Pub in Stoke-on-Trent

Known Johnny the a number of years first time I've been in he recognised me and gave me a free shot of whisky one of the better pubs in Burslem where you can sit and relax in.

Johnny is a wonderful guy and great landlord, superb beer ,great price and always new beers to choose from. Never use anywhere else. Brilliant!

Been enjoying a pint or two for nearly 60 years, all over the world. Have had a number of locals, in that time, but this is the number 1, and that's no reflection on all the others. But in John and his staff plus the other regulars it is a great micro pub. Beer and snacks are great. Everyone, who behaves, is given a great welcome. Thanks to John for this great meeting place in a great town.

I had noticed the micro puh before, but never called in. I went in feeling a little anxious, because as a single female it can be a bit awkward walking into a pub alone.There was live music playing ( boat band) who were excellent and a great atmosphere. The staff were smiley and made me feel relaxed.It was smaller than I expected inside, but plenty of interesting things to read on the walls, which was good for me initially as I had no one to talk to.This is a place that I would be happy to return to on my own.
