Kashmir Gardens in Stoke-on-Trent

Hate to post this as I’ve always loved this restaurant & have been going for years & years! My children have grown up going into this restaurant for special occasions, we were always treated like old friends & the kids were always surprised with a treat from the staff. We stopped going a few years ago as we noticed a change in the place. After last weekend (30/04/22) we decided to try it again for my birthday meal. I left so upset at how we were treated & spoken to, I can honestly say I’ll never step foot in the place ever again! Absolutely terrible service & nothing like it was years ago. Very very sad to see how it’s become.

Gutted to post this review but it has to be done. We’ve been ordering delivery from this restaurant for years and over time it’s really gone down bank. We’ve learnt not to order at the weekend as the food is dry and not fresh, however, midweek has always been good. We’ve ordered this evening and half was fresh - the onion bhajis had clearly been warmed up as they were soggy - the shami kebabs were over cooked and more like a hockey puck and the salad was probably fresh on Friday. Brown lettuce is not a great impression. Naan bread was dry too. This is what we have experienced at the weekend for a while but if it’s progressing in to the weekdays too I’m really sorry but you will get no more orders from me. I understand that food doesn’t travel well but in previous times we have had great deliveries so that is not an excuse that can be used……..

The staff are really friendly and helpful and the food is quite nice the decor of the seating area is pleasant so i would normally have given a review of 4 stars but the men's washroom and toilet are a mess and if i had visited the men's prior to eating i think i would have left. Places have been shut for a long time during Covid so there is no excuse. would recommend checking the washrooms before ordering
