Papa Johns Pizza in Stoke-on-Trent

The food is as expected from a chain, same regardless of the location. Food really good, staff friendly.The negative which is why i have only given 4 stars is the time that i had to wait. The staff do however apologise for the delay.I would recommend and will use again.

I ordered at a quiet timeI ordered direct, I didn't use a 3rd party site.Order value £100+ but with discount online £53The order status was updated incorrect so I called the store only to find out that my food was still there waiting for one of there own driversAfter waiting 1 hour 12 minutes the driver showed upHe passed me some boxes and immediately notice there will be an issue as the boxes are not as hot as you would expectAnyway, I took the boxes and told him that I was not very happy due to the temperature to which he simply replied don't worry it'll be hotWell it was mostly cold and only 2 pizzas had a little warmth to themIf this had been solely for me or my partner I would have taken it back, but with 3 hungry children that was difficult to do as it'll be another hour+ waiting for something that may or may not be delivered hotI simply microwaved the food little by little but I should have simply had a hot order deliveredNeedless to say I will not use this Papa John's nor any other Papa John's as the service was terrific and had not contact from store despite my email and survey to them.This is what I ordered and from 0 being cold to 5 being hot my food was as follows3 x potato dots (1) cold2 x portion of chicken wings (0) extremely coldBacon garlic bread (3) warm but no way near the warmth it should beXXL stuffed crust half and half (2)just above coldXXL stuffed crust all the meats (3) warm but no way near the warmth it should beStandard garlice bread (1) cold

AVOID !! customer service is shocking 1hr and 20 mins for my delivery.. rang up as it arrived cold.. hardly any toppings and just rubbish!!To be told on the phone by the rudest guy ever.. "it's not cold" blank right told me my food wasn't cold .. when I argued this he then repeated "its not cold" and put the phone down on me .. absolutely disgusting customer service I've I've left £40 lighter with cold food .. I'm really dissapointed and in my life I've never experienced customer service as bad as that I feel extremely deflated. I agree with a couple of reviews that it's a shame because these are usually nicer than dominos .. but I will never .. ever order again. And I hope the man of the phone really is ashamed.

Food was half an hour late, they marked their tracker as delivered before it had even been put in a box, rang them to find out where my order was and they didn't even say hello. I had to question if someone had actually answered the phone. I tried to ask wherey order was and he cut me off and read out what was luckily my full address and not someone else's. I was told the driver was only just leaving. 15 minutes later she turned up and told me there was too much rain and walked off. Food was stone cold. Whoever took over this place is doing a terrible job. Won't order from here again.

Worst Papa Johns ever. Was half an hour late. Pizza was lukewarm, not hot at all.Maybe they can get the Pizzas out the door faster.Never ordering from here again

I worked in catering business for 5 years and food delays alwys happen unfortunately. So when that happened we would always apologise to the customer however with this papa johns branch in hanley the order was 1 hour 40 minutes late when i called they the manger had an attitude. Even though i was polite to him for some reason. Avoid form here.

Went in tonight 29/05/22 - asked for a create your own pizza to be told by the person working there that they DONT OFFER a create your own pizza.If I could rate less than 1 star I would!

Really Poor Service.Waited over 2 hours for food. Rang the store 3 times to be told that the driver had only just left 10 minutes ago. Waited another 20 minutes and food was stone cold!It pains me to actually give you one star, but I actually think Papa Johns tastes nicer than Dominoes pizza.However, Dominoes has better customer service!

We have used this branch on many occasions & have noticed the quantity of ingredients decrease on each visit.On this occasion, we ordered three pizzas & two portions of tata tots.There was very little cheese & sauce and only a small amount of toppings on the pizzas. There was also too much crust.When I opened the tata tots, they were half the portion size we normally get.The order was collected for a pizza night with friends & we didn't check the boxes until we got home We all felt it wasn't value for money.

First time we tried this branch and never again. The pizza was delivered an hour late and was look warm when it did arrive. After heating it back up it did taste ok hence the 2 stars. No explanation was forthcoming when questioned about the delay. There are much better pizza places for a lot less. Avoid.
