Thus had always been the BEST chip shop in the area.Always a family-owned business, the current owners took over a few years ago and have kept up the very high standards that keep locals coming back time and again.Generous portions and very good prices ( where else can you get a high quality fish and chips for less than a fiver ! )

Awesome plaice (spelt that way deliberately).Foods always hot and fresh. The Staff are always welcoming and friendly. I can heartily recommend this Chippy 100%.I shall miss them when I eventually move at the end of the year.

Great fish and chips. The fish was cooked perfectly. Very reasonable too. They only accept cash, but there is a cash point in the co-op next door

Amazing battered fish, really crispy thin batter, perfectly cooked fish inside, really enjoyed it. The price was exceptionally good too. Covid restrictions fully abided by. I would have preferred the chips just wrapped in paper rather than in a styrene type container tho. Will definitely be using again.
