POTBANK Cafe - Works Canteen in Stoke-on-Trent

Love this place. Its got a great atmosphere and decor. It's industrial theme based around the setting of the old spode pottery works with a potbank taking the main focus of the hotel.The Mexican food is out of this world. Generous portions of tasty food and bought to you by great servers.The factory floor is also good for a laugh, although not been to a themed night yet.

Had a great meal here with my work colleagues. We'd booked for a Thursday afternoon and pre-ordered due to our party size. It was my first time eating here, the decor is brilliantly quirky, and a nice vibe to the place. The staff were very friendly and the food was very tasty, I'd opted for the chicken and chorizo arrabiatta. Everyone enjoyed their food and the burgers were a hefty size! Thanks, will definitely be back.

Loved this place. The staff greet you and are pleasant and friendly. The decor was really trendy. The tables weren't all jammed in so you had a sense of space around you. Food was amazing. We had breakfast, a large group of us. The only criticism would be the coriander sprinkled on my pancakes 🤮. But we are going again Saturday so even that wasn't a deal breaker. 😂

Great, well cooked full English breakfast (although slightly posh for Stokies! 😉). Little bit pricey considering your in Stoke town but it's undoubtedly a good use of the area within the old Spode site and you definitely get an authentic potbank feel with the place.Was quiet when we arrived on Saturday mid-day ish but picked up not long after. Sadly a teepee style cover was over the outside area and blocked all the sunshine.Definitely more potential at the site to create an all day entertainment venue and this is just the start. Decent selection of beers and cocktails too, will return soon.

The venue is spacious in my opinion, and a lovely atmosphere, the food was also delicious, a little on the pricey side, but I was really disappointed by how long it took for the order to come, we were starving and waited 45mins up to an hour. The staff were friendly but I felt that the quarter on picadilly was way more welcoming. Mine and my friends order was wrong. Things were missing from it. Didn't get an apology for how long we waited. However when we addressed the issue with the order, they did sort it out and were very professional about it. The rest was a big let down seeing as the picadilly set such high expectations. It feels as though the second venue isn't being managed as well as the first which is strange as the Potbank is a bigger venue. It didn't seem overly busy either, could've been way busier

Went for mother's day afternoon tea and it was such a lovely day. Afternoon tea was 5* as well as the service. There was so much food we had to take some home! Well worth a visit.

My beautiful daughter took me here today for afternoon tea to celebrate mother's Day. Processco, sandwiches, cake and a delicious mini quiche. The staff were fantastic, there a lady singer keeping us entertained, just a great afternoon in a historic building of the Spode factory, is well worth a visit and will hopefully go back soon 😀

The venue itself is really nice. Great piece of Stokes history. Staff are pleasant enough too. The drinks and food weren’t that great and the food took a long time to be served. Also seems to be very compact - distancing not really possible.

Fantastic Mexican restaurant. Been looking for a good Mexican restaurant in the region for ages and this one hits the spot. Great reuse of an historic building too. Went on a Wednesday night when the restaurant was pleasantly busy. Despite this, staff were great and service was far from slow, especially considering that most Mexican food needs to be freshly cooked. While busy, the tables are as widely spaced as any restaurant so can see nothing to deter any but the most paranoid visitors. Highly recommended
