Restaurant Marguerite in Stoke-on-Trent

We had such a great time at this restaurant. All the staff were friendly and it was such a pleasant evening. My daughter is a fussy vegan and so we had asked for a fajita with vegetables, however, our waitress said they can only do with onions and peppers. A few minutes later Tom the manager came out to double check our order and said are you sure you want just peppers and onions? We said no, but those are the only vegetables available. He said leave it to him and got us mixed grilled vegetables. They tasted amazing and it was so kind of Tom to come and suggest more vegetables. We will definitely be going back here. Thank you to the wonderful staff for making our evening so enjoyable!

The worst experience ever.We arrived for our prebooked slot. We were told to wait by the bar. 20 minutes later after numerous empty tables we were seated. We ordered 2 burgers and a child's meal. 1hr later it was bought to us. The burger was completely raw. I asked for a manager and after a further 10 minutes she made her appearance. After speaking with a manager and her couldn't care less attitude, I decided not to have a replacement meal as it would have taken god knows how long to be cooked. So I had nothing while my husband and son finished off theirs. When you're chef can't cook a burger which appears to be the majority of the menu you have serious problems.It should be 0 stars.

Staff were nice, deco was what you'd expect. Service was pretty quick, prices about what your average place like this charges. Food wasn't terrible, in fact I was a little surprised that it was quite nice. Good options for beverages. Wouldn't rush back, but wouldn't turn my nose up either. Basically does what you'd expect from the chain. Decent enough.

£13.00 pound for a chicken Burger that wasn't a chicken Burger there was basically Hardly any chicken at all, friend asked for a steak to be will done and basically come still alive on the plate, My Husband's food come cold aswel, definitely gone down hill probably won't be eating her again 👍

Nice atmosphere and lovely food. Only point is make is we had to wait a while each time we wanted a drink as there didn't seem to be many waiting staff. Also we were there for a big birthday which we notified them of but no balloons or anything extra special which they have done before, although staff did sing happy birthday.

Disappointment is an understatement. The management needs to be reviewed. We booked a table for 12 and 4 children for a small party for our niece and we were forced to share 2 booths that only fit 4 adults in each of them. The manager and staff could not even arrange a suitable table yet there were free tables but they could not be bothered to move us there. Staff claimed the tables were booked but we sat in there for 30 mins and no one came. I’d book somewhere else for birthday parties and important celebrations to avoid disappointment.

Massive disappointment. Unbelievably small portion! Tiny burger, handful of small fries. Small plate makes it look OK but trust me its not. This wouldn't be an issue if it was cheap as you could order more, but 2 burgers and 2 diet cokes was almost £40!Wasn't sure if it was a joke, even took photo as it was funny at first.Any of the £6 McDonald's burger meals are noticeably bigger than what we were served!Not even funny really, quite cross. I work hard for my money and feel like I've been robbed. Will absolutely not go back, or to any other tgi now.Taste of food was reasonable but irrelevant, just a normal burger.. except at an extortionate price..Service was fine, can't blame the local staff for management pricing & meal sizes.

The worst meal for a long long time...Talk about disappointment. Visited on new yrs even for my sons birthday. A lot of things were unavailable, which we were advised after ordering them. The guy waiting on, came to table half a dozen times to advise that various things were not available.. Even salad!The food didn't meet the description. Chicken strips were more like tiny nuggets. My burger was cold and looked worse than a 2 quid microwave meal.. I could go on...out the 7 of us, one meal was decent and that was a vegan option...Not making a fuss, we paid the bill in full but will never be going back... A table next to us said exactly the same thing... Complete and utter waste of nearly 200 quid. Absolutely disgusting. This place needs closing. Emailed HQ but haven't responded and obviously don't give a toss either.

Disappointed to be honest. We got there early but they sat us straight away which was great. We ordered drinks which took a while but this is standard at a TGI. Lovely drinks. A nice pint of Sam Adams for myself. The starter was a nachos sharing plate which wasn't bad. The mains came out and we're all only tepid at a push so we requested they be replaced. The sticky chicken came back out for my wife and daughter and was at a decent temperature so they tucked in. (A very tasty dish by the way). I had to wait a while for my replacement burger which was only marginally warmer and a little dry and bland to be honest. The fries were very tasty. Would I recommend? For the beer and sticky chicken, probably yes, for the rest of the experience, nope.

Fantastic place, it was well lighted and the ambience is refreshing and neat.Staffs are very cheerful and friendlyMust try is the sesame seed chicken with Jack Daniel sauce. It tasted phenomenal. Costed me close to 12 pounds but worth the money.The washrooms were clean and neat.Free parking.Must visit diner.
