Sneyd Arms in Stoke-on-Trent

Had a christening doo here and it was amazing, food was beyond expectation, they decorated the blocked off bit exactly how we wanted it. Can’t thank you enough for a great day. The day after we had a meal booked for 15 people and all the food again was amazing, all hot and tasted great and would highly recommend. Thanks to Sam and the team. Love having our local pub back 😀

Very disappointing, not fresh roast pots and veg, all frozen and hard, not cooked well, meat, yorkshires and gravy lovely but overall not a great experience, waiting on staff very attentive and understanding when we gave feed back on the food, told kitchen staff were in training.

Had a lovely visit to the Sneyd Arms today. Our food was very tasty and presented well. The team were very helpful and couldn't do enough for us. The place is lovely inside its great to see it doing well. Will definitely be back soon 👍

Popped in for a late lunch, we selected dishes from the seniors menu ( two courses for under a fiver) I had steak pudding and my wife the all day breakfast followed by Apple crumble for me and syrup sponge for my wife. We both really enjoyed the mains and I enjoyed the crumble. Unfortunately the syrup sponge was overcooked and we had to send it back, but the replacement sponge was delicious. We both agreed that we really enjoyed the meal and that the staff were first class, as was the Abbot Ale. Will definitely return. They only lost a star because of the sponge pudding, but that being said the problem was sorted quickly and without fuss. Overall real value for money.

Went on Monday with some friends had a perfect meal Sam and Shannon were really welcoming the food was great will most definitely be returning

Excellent food and prices and the staff were lovely couldnt do enough for you. Very thoughtful and I saw a member of staff helping an older customer take her coat off and put it on the radiator for her so it would be warm when she was ready to go home. Definitely recommend and we will be coming back again

Food sizes are really small. I ordered scampi and I got 6 pieces and a tiny pot of tatare sauce. Was clean and tidy though. Plates were old fashioned. Good customer service though.

Never again!! Ordered Diane Chicken today. Appeared to be raw! When I complained the answer I got was "they come in ready cooked so they do tend to be rubbery but it won't make you ill"!!! The texture looked like rawfish!! They then brought my desert and suggested I tested the custard because THEY 'thought it may not be warm enough"!!! Why serve it in the first place if they were unsure.?? Of course it WAS only tepid!! But to say it can be rubbery but won't make you ill gave the impression they thought was OK?? I dont think so!!
