Sorry to give a bad review, but for all your new look of the building which is an improvement, your breakfast this morning was shocking.Arrived on time and booked a table to find no table in restaurant, didn’t find any of the staff welcoming and interested, went to get a cup of tea only to find the hot water empty, basically it got filled and obviously had a warm cuppa.Found a table at the entrance area so then had to go get our own salt and pepper, the queue was about 10 mins and then when we got to the counter there were no sausages and eggs which we had to wait for, followed by the ketchup and brown sauce empty, I mean come on really !!! I asked someone for brown sauce and a few minutes later was told NO BROWN SAUCE 😂🤣, unbelievable !!! To top that the pepper I went and fetched myself was empty😮Also my daughter wanted white bread for her to make a bacon sandwich, that was frozen !!!!All in all an awful experience this morning at 10.30amThe experience overall deserved this one star review, look forward to your response.

Recently refurbished the Trentham Toby Carvery now offers a much improved dining experience. The decor is now lighter and fresher and new dining booths have been added. The food is typical of Toby Carvery with several roasts on offer and a plethora of vegetables. Great value for money.

We didn't catch the man's name as he wasn't wearing a name badge as he was fairly new, but he did explain that he had just started his training and came over from the Ashbank which we said we had been to before but much preferred Toby carvery a d he said that's why he switched companies. I think any company would be lucky to have him on board, he makes a great impact for a Toby customers experience.

We were staying overnight at the travelodge next door, so we came here for dinner and have few drinks. The waitresses were very nice and helpful, and the bar facilities are more extensive than most Toby carveries. The next morning we came back to breakfast to be greeted (if you can call it that) by possibly the most unhelpful and miserable waitress in memory. Just don’t order an orange juice, as this can complicate things horrendously and it was only later that we realised we were charged just as much for two glasses of concentrated orange juice from a carton as the breakfast itself.

Decided to visit Toby Trentham after it's makeover and it didn't disappoint. The new look is amazing with some new cosy table areas. All the great familiar faces there to serve too. I live in Stafford and we have carveries, Stonehouse one is nowhere near as good as Toby. The food, drink and service were all fantastic. Even nice to see a nice clean working gent's loo!.My only gripe, which is a petty one is we were seated in an area near to the carvery area. So it was a tad warm.

Place has been refurbished and looks great.Very disappointed that they ran out of cordial drink, then ran out of custard, it was only 1pm! Why not send someone out to buy some and keep Customers happy.Carvery was nice in fairness. It's always the attention to detail which get Customers to return and recommend.

Usually have a lovely meal but not on Wednesday 6th April, got there around 3.30pm. All 4 of us opted for a carvery. Had to wait for at least 5 mins to be served. When we got back to the table the food was cold, so they warmed it up for us. No apology offered. The mash was so dry, couldn't cut into the stuffing tasted like it was stood there for hours. The meat was nice and the coffee. My Friend complained as we were paying and got no response..just a blank look.

Its been refurbished but seems the shrinkflation dept has had its say. More seating, longer queues, no lamb, poor quality beef & thinner gravy. Some veg cold or in v short supply. Only just a 3*

The carvery selection is excellent with choices of 4 different roasted meats. The vegetable selection is fantastic. Our favourites were the cauliflower cheese bake and the sliced potatoes in cream. Simply scrumptious!

Pretty good meal, a little awkward when they have to fill the plate bit big meal and plenty of choice with 5 roasts on a Sunday, pork, beef, lamb, turkey and gammon. Mash, roasts and plenty of vegetables to choose from.
