Trentbridge Traditional Fish and Chips in Stoke-on-Trent

I always go for the Med Chicken and chips! Great staff, Amazing food! You really can't go wrong here!

Whoever runs this place needs to do a course on customer service. I've been shouted at down the phone told told to shut up and listen. I've ordered from Hills for a while, recently I've noticed the delivery time is well over an hour, on this occasion 1 hour 30 mins. My order when delivered was cold, items missing charging me for a naan bread and giving me a pot of sauce in return which is £1 cheaper. I ordered a large house special and got a small, there was literally a couple of peices of meat the rest was chips and salad, I asked there to be only lettuce and onion I got cucumber and tomato and no onion. I'm mortified that this place is continuing to do this. I don't usually write reviews but people need know that this place doesn't care about customers it is money driven and in no way respects women. To be spoken to like that over the phone when Hills is in the wrong is disgusting.

Good, fish cooked fresh. Didn't like these new fangled fish n chip boxes, but that's a personal preference

Customer service was absolutely shocking. Went in as a client had asked me to grab them a mini fish and chips with mushy peas. My colleague advised that most places do kids meals which would be the right sort of size for this client (I work in community care).On arrival I asked what they do which matches this best, but the kids meal was with a fish cake rather than fish, but they did do a fish value box (Mini fish with large chips and a sauce of choice) but said they could do a cone.Upon payment each item was charged individually at a total of £5.25. Now the value meal was £4.99, so not a huge difference. I queried this and asked if they could just charge the meal deal as ive had that but just a smaller sized chips and the client wanted the peas separately. He said no, that is not how the system worked and if I wanted the deal price he would have to put it all together. At this point I said it was stupid, as this would mean that he needs to empty the tub and throw it away to pour it over the chips (cone of chips). He again repeated that this was not how the system worked and told me never to come back again. Very unhelpful and all about money grabbing.

Nice deals, quick service, good quality food, friendly staff, definitely recommend to others. Have had delivery on a few occasions and was average time frame but well worth the wait and I do live 2/3 miles from the store.

Ordered first time ,took long time for deliver about 1 hour and 5 mins ,chips is greasy and look old,fish is ok curry mushy peas ok,I will not order again -will back to uber eats is much better

Ordered several times, probably once out of the 7-8 times all of my order arrived and on time. This time missed items and over an hour for delivery. Rang to ask see where missing item was and got told that it would be with me within the next 30 minutes. A large sausage to go with my food! I told them no I will collect it. Greasy chips very greasy tonight. Chicken meat was spot on! Salad was appalling. Not fresh!

Great fish and chips and stays open later than most! Large fish really is a large fish and the chips a beautiful golden brown , all with great flavour! Will definitely go there again!
