Nice afternoon tea, helpful staff

Very disappointingThe restaurant didn't live up to its expectations. The positives first: the place is very nice and the staff friendly and efficient. However, the dinner menu is somewhat limited and the food is, well, not very good. Were the place cheap, this would be acceptable but it isn't. I know many restaurants in central London in this price category, which are actually a lot better. In conclusion, this is not the fine dining restaurant you are led to believe it is.

Had a lovely afternoon tea during our visit to the Christmas market in Stratford upon Avon. Classy surroundings and a elegant looking restaurant made it a great experience. The service was excellent for the five of us who enjoyed plenty of sandwiches and cakes served on three tiered plates. Tea was served in fine china cups and saucers. A lovely treat for our visit to Stratford.
