Amazing food, right by the river, bring cash so you don't have to pay at the main till !! Served very quick, was wrapped and bagged before I finished paying

The portion sizes are ok but its definitely overpriced. The food was generally dry and poor quality and the ketchup was cheap and acidic- wouldn't recommend and won't be going again.

Good fish and chip meal and nice to be able to sit outside to eat. Inside needs updating and prices were higher than I am used to but not sure if that is down to area.

It's a weird one l was really looking forward to this visit. The last time l was here it was under different management.The food then was fantastic but on this occasion spending nearly £18.00 for 2 small fish & chips left me wanting a lot more for our money. I was really disappointed.

Unfortunately Barnaby's is not the fish and chip restaurant it was 2 years ago, when I rated it one of the best in the Midlands. Quality of food and service have both deteriorated somewhat. However, still a pleasant experience.

A little disappointing. Tables not kept clean. Waited over 25 minutes to get our cod roe and chips to share (a whopping £9.50!). Cash only, won’t accept cards. Forgot to bring my drink or any cutlery. Asked for sauces, but never arrived. Our clothes stank of chip fat when we returned to the hotel. Average food, lots of blackened / damaged chips. Won’t be returning here.

Real fish and chips. The food was good. Decent prices.

Normally I really dislike fish and chips but theses chips are 100% tasty and if I had choice I would go to them again and the food is cheap and the people there are so polite

Visited Stratford upon avon today not to busy decided on fish and chips from here they were very nice we wish we had of shared one portion service was good had to wait a while as the fish was being cooked was hoping to pay by card but only cash accepted.

Hefty queues and prices great you first and foremost. But if you’re patient there’s a tasty meal to be had. The chips are great. Well cooked and not powdery. Generous with the salt and vinegar too. The fish is fine. Nothing outstanding though and the batter too soggy for my liking. The best bit is the location and you can take your meal and chomp by the riverside, watching the world go by.
