Had a full course meal with my wife at lunchtime in May. Couldn’t have enjoyed it more, excellent service as well as excellent food. It’s a very pleasant experience from beginning to end, it’s a tight menu but everything on it is prepared to perfection. Excellent wine selection and can I say it again wonderful service.

We had a superb dinner at Cheal’s last evening together with our son Lee and his wife Samantha.The service, as always, was immaculate…Impossible to have any criticism.The food was beautifully cooked and presented - I have to use the word DELICIOUS.I seldom recommend restaurants because I feel that most chefs just “ go through the motions” andleave customers wishing they had eaten at home. Cheal’s is so good in every respect that I wholeheartedly r3commend it to all who enjoy lovely food in a lovely venue with top class staff.

Came here with friends recently as our normal haunt was closed. Small menu with enough for fish and meat eaters but perhaps light for veggies though this can be accommodated. Fantastic bread to start and good amuse buche. Really enjoyed the lease risotto and game but the best was last and I have gone off puddings! A great soufflé.Great atmosphere in the place. my only quibble is the wearing of gloves by the staff. Poor infection control unless you have a new pair every time. Far easier to wash hands! Still, if that is all...

This place is perfect for a meal for friends or family. Has a range of menus to fit different price ranges and needs. We had the tasting menu for a special occasion and both the food and service were fantastic. Eve our waitress was discreet but also super attentive and efficient. The atmosphere was elegant and intimate. Would definately recommend and go again.

Incredible meal. We had the tasting menu and every dish was delicious. I love trying foods I wouldn't usually make myself and this was a really special treat. Service impeccable too, seamless topping up of water and perfect timing between dishes. Where is their Michelin star already?

We were there for the 7 course taster menu to celebrate our 50th wedding anniversary with wife's brother and his wife. All the courses were excellent, it deserves its reputation, the service was what you would hope to find. A gem.

Amazing experience. We had the 6 course tasting menu. The individual flavours came together perfectly, one dish after another was equally amazing in taste and presentation. Would highly recommend.
