China Kitchen in Stratford-on-Avon

This is my favourite Chinese restaurant. My go to dish is chicken and cashews, special fried rice and crispy seaweed. I'm not completely sure what they do to make their chicken and cashew nuts better than the competition but it is. The portions are large so you can probably share that with someone else. Best way is to call them after 6pm when the Meer St bollard is down and then drive in immediately, park outside, pick up and head out.

Hardly ever do I like Chinese takeaways away from home but wow, this was really lovely. Food was of good quality and tasted great. The salt and pepper chips were not fully covered and seemed to just be at the bottom of the packet however the best chips from a takeaway I’ve had. Highly recommend

Disgusting food (microwaved rice, tough old chicken and watery tasteless soup), disgusting service (arrived very very late), would give zero stars if possible. Emailed owner to be told that 'the chef had 20 years experience and I should find another restaurant'. Charming!! Do NOT order from them.

I've tried many of the Chinese takeaways in Stratford upon Avon, but for me China kitchen is way above and beyond the rest.I've never had a bad meal from them EVER!, and I have had well over a hundred! (only ever at most once a week!)They are polite punctual with the delivery and more importantly the food is delicious.If you're looking for top notch Chinese takeaway then this is the place to go!

Just ate the worst food ever. Would never believe professional Chinese cooks cooked this. Waste of money. Most of other reviews are spot on. Wish I'd read them first.

TERRIBLE SERVICE!!!! Absolutely disgusted from China kitchen in Stratford upon Avon! Me and my partner ordered food on New Year’s Eve, we had to wait hours for the food only to have the wrong order, when informing them of this they asked us to come and collect the right one? However this was not acceptable and had to argue with them to re-deliver it!? .... it came wrong AGAIN!! We’ve recently just bought 1 pot of BBQ sauce to get home and realise it’s curry sauce!? Called up to explain our dissatisfaction and they blamed us for the wrong order. Absolutely dreadful service and will never be returning, stay away if you want good food!!! ❌

So disappointed this evening!! Since the old owners have left slowly but surely the food quality has gone downhill. We waited for two hours for food this evening, we even called to check the status of our order.My husband's order was wrong, but he insisted he was fine with what he'd got... Despite that meaning he paid almost £7 for a small, not very eggy, egg fried rice.My order was correct, however my blackbean sauce seemed to have misplaced the black bean element and was almost beef in tasteless gravy.

Online ordering was easy. Delivery was quick. Most of the food was OK. Just OK. I ordered a Thai green curry. When you think of Thai thoughts of basil, chili, lime, Lemongrass, coconut come to mind. Oh no, not here. My green curry was not green at all. It was grey and tasted of salt and cornflour. It was frankly terrible. Message to C. K. If you can't cook Thai the don't.

Bring back the old owners!!! The standard of food now is extremely hit and miss!! The vegetables are small and soggy, the customer service is shocking! Have missed items often and then refuse to come back... Even when you've paid?! They don't even remove the "poop pipe" from the prawns anymore!! Just not the standards we are used too after 10+ years of amazing takeaways! Again.... Bring back the old owners!!!! This takeaway has gone so down hill!!
