Good honest food, well cooked, friendly service.Surprisingly empty on a Friday evening, but that may have been because we were in at 5-6pm.Very tasty, will definitely go again.

One of the nicest meals me and my partner have had in a while. Friendly service, good choice on the menu. Food was superb, pork belly was divine and the cod looked lovely too. Wouldn’t hesitate to come back here and would reccomened to anyone

A lovely old traditional English pub. A must when in town.

Had the turkey roast , was delicious-lovely and quiet and the service was excellent staff very friendly and helpful- a beautiful birthday meal .

Had a totally lovely evening at this fabulous restaurant. The staff were so lovely and helpful, and the food was excellent. Great atmosphere - busy but not crowded, bustling but not loud, and excellent value for money. They even put a candle on my mum's dessert for her birthday! Will definitely be back when I visit Stratford again.

I went here last night, I was lucky to get a seat, the food was amazing for the price, I'll definitely be back very soon and next time have my wife with me. As you can see I had the garlic bread to start with which was a strong garlic flavour and the bread was very soft followed by the pork ribs which just fell off the bone, finished with a hot chocolate and sticky toffee pudding which was to die for, I can say the portions were massive and well worth the money

One of the best restaurants we have had the pleasure to eat in. The staff were friendly and knowledgeable about the menu and nothing was to much trouble as we had a few requests which they accomidated without any issues. Would highly recommend and will most certainly go back when we're back in Stratford.
