Update of reviewOrdered some food last week, order was correct and hot, very little apology for messing up 3 times before but hey they got it right in the end and I will continue to use there, updated to 4 stars from. 2 stars.Honestley, the last 3 times I've been here the food has been somewhat sub standard.But something that really compelled me to write this reviewSTOP TELLING PEOPLE 30MINUTES..... JUST STOP.So you ring a order through of about £50, you've waited in your house for 30 MINUTES, you arrived to be told not ready, so as we're aware the social distancing thing at present, anyone who has been here knows it jot the biggest of places, there were 11 people inside there in total, however they kept telling people 30 mins, now if you tell 10 people this, 10 people will come in 30 minutes... Which proves my theory of 11 people standing inside waiting.If it's going to be 45 to a 1.hour wait, this is FINE your not going to lose my custom because of a wait time.I appreciate your probably busier than normal, this is ok, just tell people the truth.Food orderedChicken and beef curry (special curry as they don't do chicken and beef) it was just sub standard food, I feel a little robbed of my money.The people in here are friendly, but there entire process is just shocking.

Absolutely fantastic haven't had a bad meal since the new owners took over. Highly recommended

Fast service, good price, chips nice but chicken balls more floury batter than chicken and salt ribs had too much batter on.

Been awhile since I've had an meal from there, my favourite was chips in gravy. Completely changed to cheap brown gravy now. Nothing like it was before and for £2.90 I should have made it myself.

I went into golden bamboo last night with my partner. We had to wait a long time for our food, but I didnt mind as they was busy. What I did mind was the fact that the 2 girls who was working on the counter where rude and obviously taking the pxxx out of the customers who was waiting. One of the girls said to the other about playing a game and started writing something down on their note paper whilst looking up at one off the customers and looked at each other and burst out laughing. I felt extremely uncomfortable with this pair and was glad when my food was ready. When I thanked them for the food one of the girls said you could at least smile to me.! I will never ever go to this take away again and will not reckomend it to anyone I know. If I was the management I'd seriously consider front off desk !!!

Visited last night to get my wife and myself a take awayI ordered the crispy chilli beef with egg fried rice me wife's order was chicken sweet and sour Cantonese, on opening the cartons what first struck me was the portions were quite small . My chilli beef was very nice , my wife's chicken sweet and sour Cantonese style she said was disappointing as it was more batter then chickenService was quite quick . Would we use this take away again yes

Decided to use them for the first time today.Unfortunately it will be the last time.Chicken and noodles or duck and noodles is just basically 2 boxes of noodles with some soya sauce and pepper , not much else.Dog was happy !He love noodles.We like meat veg and noodles , nicely fried with some spices.Chicken satay was OK .If you fancy some Chinese go somewhere else.Sorry but it was really bad.
