Ilmington Community Shop & Cafe in Stratford-on-Avon

Very friendly staff always good for a chat you will find all the basics here not too pricey either

Latte was abysmal as level of coffee only reached the base of the handle of the glass with an inch of froth. I should have complained. Perhaps the chap serving the drinks was a novice I don't know. However the shop nextdoor was excellent.

It's a lovely, well designed community facility built around the old school/church building. There's a little grocery store and a cafe, with extra seating on the terrace outside. Access from Grump St is a climb that some might find challenging, but there's also a car park and flat level access to the building from the rear.

Great shop selling lots of local produce as well as the community cafe. Treat yourself to tea or coffee and one of their lovely cakes.

I too came across this on my way to Hidcote Gardens. Sunny morning and warm temp just added to the ambiance. Very cheery lady behind the counter and the best flapjack + coffee I have had in a long time.

Were just passing by on the way to Hidcot and saw the sign for the cafe. What I little gem we found coffee and cake were both delicious, the staff very friendly and the setting so beautiful.

Well what can I say. We popped to Ilmington to visit the cafe on recommendation of some friends today. And what a gem. The local cooperative have turned a old church in to a lovely shop and cafe and so tastefully done.Not a vast menu but what is on offer is excellent and the cakes are yummy. Situated viewing over Ilmington which is lovely in itself a great gem to search out.
