Shockingly bad large full English served to me here this afternoon... raw hashbrown, cold eggs, poor quality sausage, microwaved bacon... absolutely horrendous.. chef needs replacing, If one could call the cook a chef, the most annoying part of our dining experience was the constant sound of the microwave pinging in the background... obviously not fresh food... on top of that the cook was happily chatting to a customer about a pigeon that kept coming into her kitchen.. it doesn't get much more unprofessional than that.. in all fairness, how difficult is it to get a full English right? Shockingly bad

We had steak and ale pie for our lunch, followed by scones and jam . Absolutely delicious and home made by the owner. The pastry on the pie was crumbly and melted in the mouth, with home made gravy and the tender beef, it truly was a mouthwatering delight. We've been coming here for the scones and jam each time we visit Shipston-on-Stour and have never been disappointed. A treasure to behold.

It's a very old building and a great place for a tea room, but the building does have a few limitations, hence only 4 stars. Disabled access was good and our all day breakfast was delicious and good value for money.. Wouldn't hesitate to eat here again. We really enjoyed our visit today.

Lovely cafe with excellent food, at fair prices. Friendly helpful staff. Highly recommended

Good bits, staff were really lovely, great coffee and the cake selection was wonderful. It's not big café, but spaced out adequately and it was nice to see tables kept immaculate. Not so good: If I'm paying a tenner for a breakfast I expect decent sausages, not cheaper ones that were obviously reheated and had dried out.Overall I'd come back but for coffee and cake.

Lovely to sit outside despite a bit of traffic. Great friendly staff, most important to me lovely selection of cakes. Husband delighted with his coffee , have been four times already on our short stay in Shipston. Would recommend. 🍰
