Old Thatch Tavern in Stratford-on-Avon

This was the first place we came to when arriving in Stratford, we were met by a very friendly bartender, who was very polite.We stayed for food, we both had two courses and each mouthful was lovely.The pub itself gave off a welcoming warm feeling.

Your nice old English tavern. We had cottage pie and goat cheese tart; both were very delicious (in a cozy, reminding-you-of-home) way. Staff is friendly and helpful.

Charming service in an olde worlde pub in Stratford. Good opening hours so a drink after an early evening walk was needed. Beautifully clean interior. A small restaurant serving a simple pub menu though we didnt eat there. Thank you

A great little oldy worldy pub to eat and drink. Surprisingly these days, my pint of London Pride was in excellent condition. I wish I could have had another. It's not a very big place which for me is a good thing. Mind your head.

Reputedly the oldest pub in Stratford, lovely inside but the menu is lacking vegetarian options. Good range of drinks though and certainly feels like old English charm.

Absolutely excellent. Would highly recommend their Sunday roast. I had turkey (better than my own cooked Xmas dinner). My husband had the beef. Delicious.

Lovely pub, great food, so friendly and accommodating. Lovely fire and warm atmosphere. Very impressed with the service here. We stayed in Stratford 3 nights and ate in here for 2 of them, but ended our evening here on all three nights. The staff are so welcoming. Will definitely come here again next time we're in Stratford.

This has to be my favourite pub in Stratford-upon-Avon. The staff are super friendly and there is a wide range of drinks and food available. I've visited here on many occasions and can not fault anything.
