Oriental Express in Stratford-on-Avon

Placed any order for 12 people(over £112) only to find items from the order was missing( not for the first,second or even third time) phoned to let Wok Express know & was told rudely that every thing was there & the order was checked by the girl behind the counter,it was not checked & items WERE missing.We have placed many orders with Wok Express,always for 12 or more people,after this we will never order from this Wok Express again.So congratulations Wok Express, you have sent yet another customer to your competitors.

🚫🤢🚫I wouldn't give it a star but had to for a review. I got to the restaurant with my father and ordered food my dad then paid for it however we paid for someone else's meal as they gave us the wrong one good thing we didn't drive away straight away. We got the right food afterwards and we went home. I live on my own and my dad lives on his own in a different town and I come to sit down and enjoy my meal when I empty half the rice on to my plate and I noticed this hair strand and I pulled it out (it was part red and brown and long and I have short black hair) I phone the business up and explained what I found they said come back to the store and I could get another one however I don't live near by or drive so I couldn't go and pick it up. I was told there was no delivery driver and I asked what they could do they said they can't do anything and throw it away! I'm so annoyed I've spent money on something I can't even eat now as it was contaminated!! Won't be going again!! 🚫🤢🚫 Nasty!

It's pretty good for Chinese takeaway. I ordered the roast chicken with chips and mushroom sauce and it was delicious! The chips were hand cut and cooked, I was impressed and finished every single chip they were so tasty! My wife got the sweet and sour pork (not bad), egg fried rice (ok), and a hot and sour soup (very good!). We've had better Chinese food at our local takeaway in Cardiff, but I would say for the price and just a couple of minutes to make it, it's definitely worth it, so I will give 5 stars =) Next time when we're on holiday again in Stratford, we will pick up the hot and sour soup again and definitely the chips! =)

Easy access with parking, and having had the individual meals, and the set meals, found it to be very reasonably priced, a good quality food, with plenty of choice, and good portions.

Top Chinese always good food would recommend.

I don't tend to leave bad reviews unless it's really bad service. Tasty food but very stingy with side orders. If you mention it, they'll say it was a mistake and say they gave you a small one by mistake even though there is no option for small or large. I personally won't use them again as a matter of principle.

Since the new management has taken over the standards have gone right down ! The order is always wrong usually something’s missing and have never been offered compensation as some have stated! And the food standard has dropped and 8/10 times it’s cold !

Overall the food tasted pretty nice, we were supposed to have a birthday meal. However, the birthday boy had to go back again after items were missed off of our order. They gave us a coke for compensation. Food was nice though, a decent birthday party in the end.
