A really lovely pub, Nice outside seating inside also really nice, We didn't have food but did look nice and was busy, Nice atmosphere and staff friendly..This pub is based in William Shakespeare County so close to lots of interesting history, The canal is close by and also found the market on the canal..So nice to stop at this pub then walk around Stratford itself, Worth a visit and will be going back again

Really lovely meal and welcoming staff. Dog friendly 🐶. Mussels were great. No parking on site but public car park just behind 🅿️. Highly recommend whilst in Stratford-upon-Avon

Excellent...staff are friendly, efficient and accommodating...the location is perfect, situated right next to the river and town centre and within a 3 minute walk to the theatre. The breakfast is extremely good, hot and freshly cooked and the staff very helpful. Rooms are beautiful, beds very clean and comfortable and bathrooms immaculately clean. Generally very good would highly recommend.

If it’s sunny don’t bother, they don’t serve food outside (which is where half their tables are) When we were hungry enough to come inside it turns out the kitchen was closed because they were too busy. I spoke to the manager who was really apologetic and explained that he was new and they were working on it but frankly it’s just not good enough (poor chap seemed rather embarrassed by the whole thing) The only saving grace was that the drinks were good and the staff friendly if a little over worked

Lovely! we popped in for lunch as it started raining and it was near by. After finding a table we had the fish and chips and it was very nice, not at all greasy. Tha staff were great too. Thanks we'll be back soon.

Rooms ridiculously hot. Food nice but limited menu. Waitresses lovely but rushed off their feet. Need more staff.

Enjoyed a selection of starters with my daughter this evening, all very delicious. Staff were friendly and efficient. Peaceful atmosphere compared to other places.

Our first night in the area and we popped in for a pot of tea.Loved that they had a dog friendly corner, which was so cosy. The staff are great and the prices are reasonable. The pub and the facilities are really clean.Would definitely come back

We pitched up at midday, sat outside and ordered on the app. Seamless experience and the waitress was friendly and efficient. Food was very nice too! Photo of hubby’s veggie pie which he said was very tasty which is rare as veggie offerings in most places leave a lot to be desired…
