Rooster Chinese Takeaway in Stratford-on-Avon

Picked up takeaway whilst camping in the area. Best Chinese we have had in a long time. Shame its so far from where we live.

Just had the BEST take away ever. Pancake rolls, chichen in black bean sauce, pork yuk sung and, best of all, banana fritter in syrup, omg, to die for. Gorgeous, gorgeous, gorgeous. We'll be back.

Lovely food, very very tasty and... my only complaint...?They don't deliver..! (coz I'd order lots more if they did..!)

Delicious and fresh Chinese takeaway food. We have tried dishes from pretty much every section of the extensive menu and have never been disappointed. Particularly like the Thai sweet chilli king prawn. Would highly recommend. :-)

Love this place. And they were kind enough to make me a fish curry. I promised to let them know if it was good, and it really was :). It's now my go-to meal from Rooster. Thank you and Happy New Year!

Quick and tasty food. Me and my partner stumbled upon this takeaway this evening online. Called up to order then pick up 15 mins later and had friendly service both on the phone and face to face.Definitely recommend the chilli and salt chicken wings. We also had the prawn toast and Malaysian spicy fried rice extra hot!

Best Chinese takeaway in Alcester and I've been coming here for years! Chilli salt chicken is incredible! And the king prawn in ginger is also very very tasty!

So me and my partner having a very stressful day and not being able to find a decent pub with in walking distance decided to do a DIY all you can eat at home about 6 dishes for £40 we asked for no veg in the chow main but still got it in the crispy chilli and salt chicken was so over done it actually broke a filling out of one of my back teeth and the chicken curry was just filled with oil I tried to mix it in and it just look like a toilet would after eating it we also found a bone in the what was suppose to be chicken breast that my partner could have swallowed and a hair wow how is this place still running not even good value for your money disgusting I phoned up to complain the second my partner found the bone that he could have swallowed and could have killed him all they said was things like “we have been doing this for 20 years and no complaints” yeah no complaints because the customer is probably dead “there’s not bones in our breast chicken” wow I bought you the bone in “why did you wait so long to call us” because we only just found the bone and hair “are you new customers” no we aren’t but shouldn’t matter customer new or old is always right “why didn’t you cook for yourself” because we had a stress full day and wanted a treat and instead all you did was make it worse so out of our £40.30 meal bearly touched taken back to the take away we got £20 wow how disgusting the food the staff I work in the hospitality industry but these people would know hospitality if Gordon Ramsey taught them it for a year I will be phoning food and hygiene agency
