Delicious. Fresh local ingredients, very wel paired wine, thoughtfully put together flavour combinations and great service.

Wow, what an amazing experience we had on Friday evening, fabulous food created by the talented Paul Foster, paired with Amazing wines presented by Jay Jay. There was most certainly nothing “generic” about our evening. Every morsel of food was delicious, the wine matched perfectly and the atmosphere was totally relaxed and insightful. I would highly recommend. Thank you all for a great evening.

We really enjoyed our meal at Salt. Each dish was perfectly presented and tasted wonderful. The service was super attentive but also relaxed. We had a warm welcome and left happily full.I also enjoyed that they didn’t add a service charge to the bill - they leave it to guests to decide. The service was brilliant.Highly recommended for anyone looking for a special evening or lunch. We also stayed at Hotel Indigo which is a minute walk away. Great weekend in Stratford-upon-Avon.

Two michelin stars for the price of one at salt_diningDinner with Paul Fosterchef and Aktar Islamfor an exclusive 6 course tasting menu.In the private cookery school above the restaurant chef's table. We love to be in the middle of all the action in the kitchen, and we certainly were.Watching the chef's preparing and presenting all the amazing dishes in front of you is just the best dining experience you can have.Could not possibly pick a favourite course as it was all delicious 😋The pics 📸 speak for themselves. The chefs 👨‍🍳 👨‍🍳 were amazingStaff were lovely and very professional.Even the other guests were lovely 😍"Its like skiing ⛷️ apparently" 🤣You had to be there to know that.Review helpful like 👍 follow thanks

Good restaurant with interesting selection of dishes. Very good service with in-depth knowledge of the ingredients. Good selection of complements from the kitchen. However on the downsides the portions are small. Four course lunch option is not enough for an adult. The menu on the wed-site is different to the one in the restaurant. Some of the ingredient combination are very strong. The anise soaked turnip although interesting idea but practically uneatable.Overall a good restaurant with a hit and miss sample menu.

A must visit if in Stratford-upon-avon. Fantastic relaxed fine dining experience. Highlight had to be the Saddle of lamb, bhuna onions, green herb ketchup which all the flavours married very well together.the lovely surprise choux bun with banana curd - the banana curd was just divine.

Just been for a Christmas treat and it was sensational. 8 course tasting menu seemed expensive but actually is great value. Absolutely delicious, start to finish, the lamb sweetbreads was possibly one of the nicest things I’ve ever eaten. The lamb and venison courses were perfectly cooked and balanced Highly recommend.

Absolutely fantastic experience. The food, wine and service was exceptional! The work put in by the chefs to produce the flavours is evident, as is the quality of the ingredients. Very relaxed atmosphere. The staff are great, really chatty and knowledgeable and their attention to detail was great to observe. For a special occasion, I would wholeheartedly recommend.

We went to this restaurant to celebrate our wedding anniversary and it didn't disappoint. The staff were super friendly and informative and seemed genuinely pleased to see you giving one of the best customer experiences we've had.The 8 course taster menú was spectacular. We both loved each course - even ones that Initially sounded like I might not be quite so keen. You want to try each element of the fish separately (and you should do so as well) but combining a bit of each element was the best to appreciate the balance of the flavours. The chef was on point. The wines were good and reasonably priced. We came away nicely full and very happy. I would recommend this fine dining restaurant.
