Studley Fish Bar in Stratford-on-Avon

I come in to the chippy often and I am always surprised when the food is served to me. Its always hot and fresh and have personally never had any troubles. Whether i have some meat, large fish, chicken bites even a small chips, they always taste great. Never usually the type of person to leave a review especially such a highly spoken one but that place surely deserves it. 👏

I've been a regular customer here for the last couple of years or so. The food has always been cooked and served to a very high standard and the staff are always very friendly. These combination of these things always keeps me coming back. 10/10

Had 2 large fish and chips tonight it was delicious and very good temperature, the batter was perfect and chips were really nice, amazing customer service I really recommend if you are in the area and want to be wow’d

My wife and I have been regular customers for approximately 12 months and we're amazed at the superior quality of the fish and chips, unfortunately over the last month we have had what seems to be a new recipe in batter.? Instead of the usual light crispy batter it seems to have been redipped so it was thick and hard and dare I day as it was a 5/5.15 pm delivery slot seemed to be warmed up from lunchtime! This happened on 3 occasions on Thursdays so tonight Friday 29th April having returned from a funeral we decided to give them a another chance but again we were disappointed this time at approximately 6.50 pm the batter was very heavy on both large cod ! There has definitely been a lowering of what was once fantastic standards !

Terrible service, don't acknowledge customers, waited almost 20 minutes and was only 3 people in there. Happened previously but put it down to them being busy but no excuse this time. Over priced, small portions and staff handle food and cash without gloves. Walked out and went to McDonald's and don't think they even noticed. Would have rated it no stars but wasn't able to

I ordered a large cod and instead it looks like they gave me a mini cod. But still been charged the same.Loyal customer before this. I am not too sure now.

I had large? Cod, chips & roe. The cod wasn't that big & was dry & overcooked. The chips were bland & tasteless. I ate two & threw the rest away. The roe was okay. I'll take my custom to the surrounding chippys. This was the sixth time my food wasn't up to scratch...

Had a steak and kidney pie, it was awful. They microwaved it from frozen, so when I opened the wrapper the pastry was translucent, and not cooked properly. Today I have been ill all day. I will not be using this place again, so I don’t recommend it to anyone.

£6 for a small kebab and chips - £4 understandable. It's a insult over the amount you get and it certainly isn't the best but it's local and you think you let's give it a go.Unfortunate really - use to like going till the takeover.
