Breakfast in the cafe there was lovely, albeit a bit noisy inside (kids). We ate outside in their garden area. Very clean and tidy. (the local Robins are very tame and expect you to give them crumbs from your toast )

Lovely garden centre, very well stocked with a vast variety of plants and equipment. Would recommend a visit.

We use Studley Garden Centre cafe regularly. Today we had a pre booked Jubilee Afternoon Tea for three. It was so fresh it had obviously been prepared minutes before we arrived. Our chosen table was reserved and already laid up. The choice of food was superb and was lovely presented. There was so much food we had doggy boxes to bring the surplus home for supper. The staff are always friendly and always attentive. The cafe is always clean. The coffee always hot. The food always fresh. Highly recommended.

I have now been a few times to this cafe, not once have they faltered with the quality of food, so much so, I even go in for take away lunches, when I don’t want to be bothered, not only is the food excellent, the staff are always very friendly & accommodating, yes occasionally there is a bit of a wait, but everything is fresh, & so worth a bit of a wait for that reason….You can wait longer in maccies!!!!!Thank u to all the hard working staff there😊

Lovely garden centre with lots of choice. Fabulous water features, garden ornaments and basically everything you may need or want for your garden. My only issue is the prices but if that doesn't worry you then definitely worth a visit.

Lovely afternoon out. Great displaysGood food in cafe and soft play area for kids.

The play barn it's self is great. Small and not too busy HOWEVER the staff are rude, the tables are all wobbly so drinks are constantly spilt, the food is extortionate. We ordered 3 beans on toast, a light bite jacket pot, a light bite lasagne and a portion of chips- it came to £31.The child's beans on toast- toast was burnt, and the beans had that stodgy film over where they had clearly been sat in a pan and reheated a few roo many times. The jacket potato was soggy and we found a hair in it.The portion of chips we ordered cost £2.49- we got about 12 chips which were barely cooked and very dry.On previous occasions 2 portions of chips took over 90m to arrive. The "lasagne" was basically macaroni cheese- heaps of hard undercooked pasta with a splodge of cheese sauce. Think we had 1 forkful of mince. The staff called a parent a tramp because they had used a nappy to stop the table wobbling about so much. The toilets were dirty & the soap didnt work.Overall its such a shame because it's the ideal place for children who like it a bit quieter and the soft play is good value for money. It's just a shame the staff and food prices totally ruin it.

Unfortunately the cafe (and the kids play centre) has lost the Garden Centre 2 stars from my rating. The garden centre itself is good, with a wide selection of plants, gardening products and gifts. Bought some herbs today - and over the years have bought some nice plants here. No issues.However. Parking is often difficult thanks to customers of the cafe and play centre - I've given up several times due to lack of parking and gone to its competitor down the road instead. The cafe is reasonable, the food on offer looks good and although not a cheap place to eat - seems popular. On to the coffee. For the extortionate cost, I cannot for the life of me understand why staff aren't trained to make coffee properly. How difficult is it to understand the principles of good coffee making? Americano is always black. Cappuccino always an Americano with hot, thickly frothed milk poured in. Espresso hot - into a warmed cup. Always black! For £7.60 today's effort involved a double espresso served lukewarm, and an insipid cappuccino using (presumably) dregs from the espresso pull with boiling hot milk poured over the weak coffee and a bare layer of bubbles - not foam - disguised with a sprinkle of chocolate.Disappointing.

A very nice wednesday afternoon a bit cold outside but indoors it's warm --the staff are very friendly and try to answer all questions - there are plenty off plants all varieties all different prices in its large garden -the garden center stocks all sorts off tools and garden associated products fertilisers-- feeds- fencing --slabs yes and a restaurant yes well worth a visit easy access to it off the A435 ---so go wander round at your own leisure and spoil your garden and get that feel good factor of summer

Love this garden centre and cafe because also allow dogs. Cafe usually very good. Dissapointed today. One member of staff could only seem to give out half a mug of hot chocolate. The rest was froth. Cake I had was dry. Usually so good normally
