Summer Palace in Stratford-on-Avon

First time coming here, walked past a few times, originally came for their buffet but sadly it’s not arriving back until summer, which was no problem! But just a not for future customers who want to try them out. Anyway staff were absolutely lovely especially the a manger, and waitress! Food came very quickly and was absolutely delicious all of my family members thoroughly enjoyed their meals! Will definitely be returning, very reasonable too.

Loved the food. Portion size is very good and well priced. The place looks lovely too. Staff were lovely and pleasant and advised on dishes.

Went for an early lunch, very quiet. Looked clean and found staff to be polite and curtious. Chose a set menu for two with a portion of chips on the side. Food was freshly cooked and tasty. My husband and myself agreed that we didn't really need chips, even though we enjoyed them, as the food was plentiful. Left feeling very satisfied and will return at a future date.

Our expectations of Kung Fu food were high due to the higher than normal prices for Chinese takeaways. First impressions were good, large portions of chicken fried noodles and average size portions of lemon chicken. It looks nice, it smells nice, unfortunately it doesn't taste very nice. It's hard work getting through it. The chicken and the noodles are so dry! The lemon chicken isn't fresh, it's like it's been cooked for a couple of days. Tiny amount of lemon sauce, so again very dry and a chore to eat. The chips weren't cooked through so we couldn't eat them. Save a few quid and take a drive down to Rooster Chinese in Alcester.

Popped into for a family meal and all of us left stuffed and very happy. We tried the lunchtime special and we all had three different starters and mains. Each dish was hot and full of great taste. The portions was very good considering it was a luch time special. The courses came well presented and cooked fresh. Can't wait to go back.

I am visiting many restaurants every week and this one was definitely on the bottom of my scale. Food was not great, lobster was not fresh, rubbery, overcooked and to be honest the worst lobster I ever had in my life. The staff was lost. An overall picture is not good. Would I go there again, 100% NO and advice you to avoid this place.

Went for a family lunch here today and had such an incredible experience! Didn't catch his name but our waiter was lovely. They had an incredible vegetarian/vegan selection, far better than I'm used to seeing in restaurants! All the dishes we ordered tasted incredible, the vegan salt and pepper chicken was absolutely amazing!! Well priced considering the large portion sizes. Thank you guys for one of the best meals I've had out in a while, will certainly be returning in the future!

Visited here in june with my family for lunch as we wanted some different cuisine to our usual.Kung fu is situated in Bell Court, an area surrounded by restaurants of all varieties. The buffet was not open due to current circumstances but we sat inside and looked over the menu which was mighty impressive to say the least.The choice of food was excellent but we ordered a variety of things to try. I had the chicken satay for starters and the thai green curry for my main, washed down with a tasty beer by the name of sunlik of which we ordered another round.The service was polite, prompt and excellent especially the female waiter who was ever so lovely with our little toddler.The overall taste and quality of all our food was excellent and the spiciness was just right among the nicest chinese food we have ever had to be fair and fairly priced too i must add.So overall the value for money, the service and most importantly the FOOD was excellent.We found no faults at all so we will definitely come here again if we visit Stratford-Upon-Avon in the future.
