Swan Hotel in Stratford-on-Avon

Regarding the reply by the Hilton. My issue wasn't not being given the upgrade. it was being given a downgrade. Also the staff don't seem to have a clue. We asked what time the bar closes. Bar girl said 11pm. 11.15pm we decide to leave as someone else serves a customer. To then be told its 2am not 11pm and we misunderstood.. it was a simple question.. then similar with food.. 100pm chef goes home so we ordered a takeaway. Then the menu says food is served 24 hours. Yes I was happy with the discount. Equally being our honeymoon I'd have rather gor the room I paid for. (Not the upgrade). And the staff clearly need retraining so they are all on the same page.

Had a weekend at the hotel with a function for 200 people on Friday and Saturday on Shakespeare’s Centenary weekend 22nd to 24th April. All arrangements and functions as well as the hotel rooms and services were great. The staff went beyond expectations and all worked exceptionally hard. Of particular note was Dengera a lovely Latvian female member of staff who was just outstanding at all times and at all hours. A real asset within an enthusiast team making our stay a great weekend. Well done!

Can't recommend it enough! Perfect location just outside the main part of Stratford and everything within 5/10 minute walk! Room was very nice and the staff were absolutely lovely! Made an offhand comment about it being my Mother's 60th and then the next thing we know there was a knock at the door with a bottle of prosecco on the house! How sweet!

Oh they’re really good. To me, a clean room is already enough but their room is not just clean it’s relatively big compares to another well known hotel at the other side of the town. Food were good. Many parking spaces. Close to attractions and retail park. Value for money! I love this hotel!

Great stay, bed aside.Great welcome on arrival. Felt very safe during my stay, lots of covid action going on, cleaning etc.Great room, everything one needs for a stay. Bed was very uncomfortable, lumpy and springy. Room was spotless.Great food. We had an evening meal and breakfast, both of which were of the very highest quality.Overall I would definitely recommend a stay here.

Having been informed of a Gluten free breakfast being required when booking a room, and reminded on arrival. My wife was i formed when requesting the Gluten breakfast, she was informed there was no gluten free bread available and it will be delivered tomorrow!

Absolutely superb, comfortable bed and well equipped room. The staff on the front desk and in the restaurant were friendly and cheerful. The breakfast was superb, fresh and very tasty, excellent value for money.

Great hotel and staff. Sofa in room was quite dated and uncomfortable. I would recommend changing the coffee as this isn't great either. But other than that very pleasant stay.

Extremely satisfied with my stay. Staff were super-friendly, and helpful. Rooms were immaculately clean, and spacious. Bed was really comfy. Nice restaurant, and resident's bar. Highly recommended A+

Great location, handy for parking up and then walking everywhere. Staff were welcoming and friendly. Good quality fixtures, fittings, decor. Really quiet at night despite town centre location (3rd floor room, at the back). We both slept really well and if that’s not the whole point then I don’t know what is 😁. Excellent breakfast. Nothing fancy, just the essentials done well.
