Thai Boathouse in Stratford-on-Avon

Evening out with friends. Great atmosphere and lovely restaurant with river views - we had a table further back though but view would have been wasted on us - we were chatting so much waitress had to come back twice before we were ready to order. Good varied menu with extra choices focussing on fish on the specials board - nothing cutting edge but well executed - I enjoyed my choices and ate everything! For less mobile diners, there is a flight of stairs up into restaurant, and once in, restaurant has 2 levels with tables near the windows down a step, also toilets are downstairs.

Lovely food, excellent friendly attentive service. Great atmosphere and surroundings.

Visited today with my daughter. We had wonderful view from a corner seat. Staff pleasant a helpful. Food was wonderful, best I've had in a long time. Very relaxed atmosphere.

Superb meal and service at The Boathouse on Saturday night. Really happy atmosphere and it was extra special to meet the proprietor Nick. Lots of fabulous dishes. Well done to the whole team we will be back.

This is a lovely place. The atmosphere is chilled with a buzz. My seabass was the best I have ever had. The staff were attentive and friendly. We were lucky to have a table on the terrace, giving us beautiful views of the river. Loved it.

We went to check out the place early afternoon as we were walking by, we had a drink in their bar by the river which was very pleasant, we returned in the evening for our diner we couldn’t ask for a better experience from the moment we arrived we were taken care of wonderfully the views were stunning, the food from the starter to dessert was fantastic with a very attentive serves to match. Highly Recommend.

Lovely busy vibrant bar right by the river but as it was Sunday shut at 9.shame as we could have sat by the river for a lot longer. £8 for a glass of rose ? But it's Stratford on Avon. Staff were lovely and told us prior to seating last orders had been called so we had the choice to stay or look else where. Would imagine it gets very busy any other time.

Best food I've had in a while and to match best customer service with attention to detail. Really recommend the squid and sea bass. We were given a seat with a spectacular view of the river, which made an already lovely evening just perfect. We will definitely be back 😋

Nice view, good food and super quick service. Will go again. Nice choice for vegetarians too.
