The Arrow Mill Hotel in Stratford-on-Avon

Excellent menu, plenty of choice and meals were well presented and delicious. It was a special occasion and we were given a lovely table overlooking the lake. The only negative was the very slow service, however this seems to be endemic right now, with hospitality being generally short of staff. The people who served us were all very friendly and pleasant.

I was a bit disappointed since my last visit. The grounds are stunning but this time some of the food let them down for a few of us. For the price they charge for a Sunday roast the veg should come on the side in sharing terrines. The Knickerbocker Glories were served in warm glasses so all the ice cream had melted. I know you were busy but it doesn't take long to cool the glasses first. On a positive note the squid was amazing.

Booked a table for 6 on Sunday evening. Service was slow, however this didn't matter to much. We ordered a bottle of wine to come with our main meal which didn't turn up, when we asked our Waitress she said she had forgotten to put the order through. The wine eventually turned up as we finished the main meal so we took it home with us. Food was good so we will certainly eat here again.

First visit and was pleasantly surprised. Greeted by friendly host. Took drinks to the picnic benches, then ordered lunch inside, lovely and clean surroundings. Our server male young man, very attentive. Food was tasty and reasonably priced.Toilets spotless, will definitely return here for my birthday celebrations next month.

Didn't reside here, came for a meal.I couldn't find anything negative to say about it.Ample well carparking.Meeting and greeting quick, pleasant and friendly.Choose a table outside, but under cover, in the marquee. Everything clean and tidy.Food was excellent, so was the service.Didn't break the bank.Would definitely recommend.

Great place for a delicious grown up lunch, well known and frequented by locals. Booking ahead recommended.Really good food as always, and although busy the service was attentive but not intrusive.Unfortunately the lunch menu has been removed since my last visit meaning an inevitable price rise on the lunch but the food is better than ever. Crispy Buttermilk Chicken burger pictured was so tender and the accompanying chips were crisp and fluffy and actually tasted of potato.2 meals and 2 soft drinks ~ £36

Came here for lunch with friends today, wonderful service from all the staff, we felt really looked after. Food was amazing. I had the crispy beef salad, generous portion with super fresh and tasty ingredients. I will certainly be returning again

What a rare surprise. Hadn’t been for years after a poor experience but major transformation. Welcoming staff,wide menu,good portions well cooked.Atmosphere felt happy which in itself isn’t easy. Thoroughly recommend.Just maintain now!

Wow!! What an absolute experience! Food was stunning, whole restaurant was too. Staff were super friendly especially Zara! She has brilliant hospitality skills which need to be praised! Lots of parking overall such a lovely experience

Chose this place for my birthday dinner. The food was lovely and fast service. They have wide and well explained wine list. I wish we had room for pudding, because it looked delicious. One extra star could have been earned if the waitress who served us was as friendly as her colleagues. Otherwise, nothing to say. Good, vibe great.
