Been coming here for years for the amazing experience of cooking our own steak on a hot stone which has always been Faultless.However on Tuesday I took friends after bigging this country pub up, how disappointed was IWe arrived to hear the next table to us was given the wrong meal, the 6 of us ordered our meal to be brought out the wrong steaks they also gave us the wrong sidesI waited an extra 10 mins for my meal to come out to be given a cold stone which I couldn't cook my steak onThis was sent back to be then given a warm stoneBy the time I actually was given a hot stone my sides was coldFor a expensive meal this was extremely poor no compensation was offered other than a apology for having too many people ordering hot stones this is a pub that specialises in this area and should ot of been the case I was embarrassed in front of my friends for such bad serviceI will not be back

Good quality and quantity of fresh food, lots of choice, fair price. Lovely sunny conservatory at the back with attractive surrounding garden. Friendly efficient staff.

Probably our favourite local restaurant now. 😊Went for my birthday treat last night with my family. Perfect as always. Fabulous steak on the stone. Staff were ever attentive although they were maxed out!! They came to apologise for delay, but it so was not a problem. Great that they are so popular/busy. They deserve it. Well done all. Hope to be back soon.

Absolutely fantastic meal tonight to celebrate our sons 18th birthday. Steak on a stone, delicious, no other words needed. Would highly recommend to anyone. Will most definitely be returning in the not to distant future. Thank you to all staff superb food & atmosphere
