The Countess Of Evesham Restaurant Cruiser in Stratford-on-Avon

Lin and myself have been on the Countess twice and enjoyed ourselves both times. We cruised Sunday lunch on the first occasion with friends and an evening by ourselves last year (21) ..The service, the food, the whole experience was very nice.. We were in relaxed mood and meandered along, going with the flow. ( good weather on both occasions ) .. Highly recommended by us.. An exceptional day out on the Countess. The lunch was fantastic and the staff very attentive.

A beautiful and tranquil experience, the food was amazing and Lisa and the staff were very friendly and accommodating, a very reasonable price for three hours on the picturesque river Avon. I would highly recommend this.

Fabulous food as always, served piping hot and large portions. We had wonderful service from extremely friendly staff. Our compliments to the chef. Look forward to seeing you again soon

The boat was beautiful and the staff were really helpful. It's a really lovely idea however Unfortunately the food really let them down. The soup was really awful. Looked like tinned chopped tomatoes with frozen peas and sweetcorn poured in. The main course was ok but the gravy was salty and gloopy. The pudding was nice. I think for what we paid the meal should have been of a much higher quality. We would go again if they changed the food.

Lovely experience with friends.Could not fault the staff in any way, they were exceptional, warm and friendly. Nothing was too much trouble.Food brilliant and very well presented, they even accommodated my fussy needs as I have a garlic intolerance.Beautiful place to stop to stretch our legs and take lovely photos.Would highly recommend, thank you.

Nothing to fault. The experience from start to finish was lovely. The whole journey was about 3 hours along the river Avon starting at 7.30pm. There were 3 locks at the start of the journey but that experience was awesome and the journey was very calm. The food was also nice. Starter, main and a yummy apple crumble for dessert. You can order wine or soft drinks separately and a cheeseboard available to those who fancy it. The girls serving us were very pleasant and friendly. We are in our early 50's and 40's and felt like the youngest there but there were another couple younger than us and another couple similar age to us. There were about 35 of us onboard.

Absolutely beautiful!!!!! Loved every second. Beautiful atmosphere, lovely music, amazing food, friendly, hard working staff ( Phoebe and Becky. Thank you so much.. and two lads doing the outside work). Wonderful sights along the river. Highly Recommend xx
