The Fish at Wixford in Stratford-on-Avon

A hugely qwerty place with a unique decor internally which itself is a topic of conversation.I was only here for a quick drink which was enjoyed outside on one of the many benches located next to the Riverside and a small children's park with a sand pit.Although I never ate the menu looked great and food when bought out to other patrons smelt and looked amazing.Great venue inside and out 5*

Lovely food, cooked and presented really well. It was also great value for money £12.50 for 3 great courses.Quirky little pub set next to a lovely river garden.We will definitely return.

What a lovely pub ... Sat in a wonderful beer garden next to the babbling River Arrow just down from the picturesque bridge with a children's play ground and sand pit to keep the little ones entertained.Now here's the kicker ... We went for food and when we went to order they said that due to being a chef down they weren't serving any longer in the garden and they couldn't take anymore inside... Did it bother us not a jot we can and will come back for food some other time and can't wait ..we just sat in the beer garden and chilled out.Quirky place inside and lovely management even if we didn't get fed 😉 will be back soon 👍

Absolutely loved this quirky little pub. Food was spot on and the staff very friendly and helpful. The garden is lovely and right next to the river so lovely views. Good playground for the little ones and a very large car park. Highly recommended

We visited on impulse recently during the day. It's a nice place to go. Quirky decor inside and plenty of green space outdoors including a play area.Staff were really friendly and the table service was prompt.Not a massive choice of food but the price for 3 courses was pretty good and the food quality is miles above a chain pub. The only complaint we had was that they burnt one of the desserts.

Best food and service I've had for a while. Delicious food, reasonable price and even though it was very busy the staff were attentive and helpful. Crazy lovely place, stay just as you are, brilliant.

I was very impressed with this place. The food was very reasonably priced which can mean its below standard but that couldn't be further from the truth, the food was excellent and the presentation was great. The staff were really friendly and helpful. Definitely going back.

First time visit and I will be back next time I am staying in this area. Pate, 8oz burger with extra coleslaw and poached pear to finish. Pint of local brew for £16.20. I cannot remember when I had such good value food. Staff were wonderful and nothing was too much trouble. Well done the Fish.

Fixed price lunch really good value. Food really high standard. Steak (extra price) exceptional. Staff welcoming and friendly. Dogs very welcome - I counted 7 last time we were there. Book a table to avoid disappointment. Service is leisurely - relax and enjoy!

As near perfect dining experience as you can get. And 3 generous delicious courses for £12:50! My compliments to the Chef!!My dog was welcomed and watered and fed with treats. A few guests in the restaurant were a bit sniffy about him when we walked past so maybe we should use the other entrance at the bar if we have dogs…….only a suggestion.We’ve already rebooked, looking forward to seeing the fabulous decor and friendly, welcoming staff. Quick but not rushed service . Absolutely fantastic value for money!
