Really interesting tour our guide was friendly and very knowledgeable about the whiskey and gin process. The tasting session was great we were able to taste as many of the different whiskeys and gins as we wanted. The shop was well stocked and staff there were also friendly and helpful, an excellent day out.

Popped in on a whim whilst driving past on a long journey. The staff and locals where really friendly the service was quick and the Veggie Lasagne was DIVINE! Also some beautiful walks right from their doorstep. Would definitely return if ever in the area again! Lots of parking round back too.

Regularly visit for breakfast on a Saturday - sets the day up perfectly. Food is wonderful and great value for money - got to be the best offering within miles. Had the pleasure of meals at family gatherings as well and same high standards throughout.

Recently stayed here with family for 3 nights. Adult kids in a twin room, and my wife and me in a spacious, well-presented double. The ambience of the place at all times was pleasant, friendly and civil. The village itself lovely, with a wonderful church that had a carillon.Breakfast offered a few choices - and each was tried (apart from veggie choice). No complaints!Had dinner here on one night too, and enjoyed the food very much - though I couldn't finish mine owing to being full! Our hosts were charming, friendly and humorous - a real boon to their village community no doubt.A good range of good Hook Norton Ales were on offer, and though I would have liked a mild or stout to be offered in place of one of the 4 pale ale choices, I do understand why they must offer those ales which will turn over most quickly. All well-kept and enjoyed by the 3 of us who like a pint.We want to return at some future point - it was a real tonic to be here after the hurly burly of life in recent times. Thanks to all at the Inn!

We spent a night at the George Inn at Brailes this week. Really comfortable room, very friendly and helpful staff .. a wonderful breakfast and excellent Hook Norton beer. The lady who manages the pub (sorry, forgot to ask her name), has clearly done a brilliant job with the pub in a very short space of time. We will definitely return.

Tracey and her team organised a party for me for 23 people. They really couldn't have done a better job. The BBQ they rustled up was really excellent, great food in very generous portions. They were accommodating and attentive, setting up an area for us and constantly checking in. The team is young but polite and diligent, really wanting to do a good job. The pub has a great selection of Rose!A number of guests at the party also stayed at the hotel which was clean, very cute and well thought through. There are even cut glass bottles of whiskey and brandy to help yourself to a nightcap on the way to bed.The location is perfect - in a small village, surrounded by amazing walks and golf courses. Easy parking and close to Banbury station.
