Excellent value, quick service and unlike some other venues no sticky tables! Combination of meals ordered were hot, tasty and enjoyed by our family. Very happy to visit again but my wife was pertubed to witness an attack on a staff member by three seemingly drunk when they arrived young men. The reasons behind the attack seemed unclear but the staff dealt with this very unpleasant incident admirably. Other customers rallied behind staff offering support. It happened out of the blue and witnessed by all age groups and family units - in no way could the venue have prevented or even predicted such an appalling act of violence.

Very quick friendly service, food to usual Wetherspoons standard on Thursday evening. Popped in for drinks and coffee Friday afternoon and different and very young staff. Ordered on app as usual, no drinks after 45 mins so queued at bar to collect order, no apology, no comment. So disappointing after previous evenings excellent service.

The food was not the best. The first morning the breakfast was cold. Then came back the next morning with the same thing. It was cold in the front of the pub and steaming hot in the back could not make since of that. Went to the toilet and they have not seen or been up to clean it as someone wiped poo all up the walls. I was not impressed at all on this trip.

Lovely pub been there a few times now. How we yesterday my friend ordered a drink and he then paid for it however it took twenty minutes for us to finally get it as the man who served us thought it was okay to make my friend wait that long. Least he can do is do his job right instead of us having to wait so long to then ask 3 other staff to complete his work

Ordered meal and drinks on app. Our food arrived very quickly. I asked waitress when would our drinks arrive. She replied they come from the bar. She was just doing food. Waited and waited for our drinks. The same waitress could clearly see our drinks hadn't arrived as she looked over on several occasions. I didn't want to leave my young son on his own to go to bar to enquire over drinks. We ended up finishing our meals with no drinks whatsoever! We went to the bar in the end and was told our drinks were on the bar. I politely asked for a refundAs we wouldn't have time to drink them. The manageress was apologetic and offered a refund for drinks back to my card. £2.80 for a large gin and tonic and a pint of cherry Pepsi max? I'm very concerned of the fact that drinks are just left on the side of the bar with table number receipts attached to them. Anyone could tamper with them. And ours had sat there for some considerable time. Food itself was as expected.

Great town centre location and very spacious inside. Served after a short wait at the bar and the food came in an acceptable amount of time. Lacking in atmosphere somewhat but that may have been because it was early evening on a Tuesday night. Toilets were upstairs, as seems the norm for a Wetherspoons, but were clean and well stocked.

Typical Weatherspoons, had Fish and Chips which was ok small portion though. Wouldn't rush back been in better Weatherspoons.

Had a lovely breakfast there, incredibly fast service with friendly staff. Food was delicious and cheap. Calm atmosphere and clean.

·

Just your average Wetherspoon pub. Food was fine, nothing out of the ordinary. The pub itself was clean, but condiments were running a bit low when we came here.

Great meal service was really quick once ordered through the weatherspopns app.Food was delicious and hot. Staff were attentive and courteous when bringing food and drinks. The pub is smallish and can get busy but very much worth the wait. Prices are as you expect in a weatherspoons so no surprises there, very reasonable. Some covid restrictions in place, masks optional, sanitiser available and a one way entrance and exit system. Toilets are upstairs be aware of that if you have mobility restrictions.
