Very disappointing. We got seated in the far corner of the bar - the bar was empty all the time we were there. It was cold, no heating at all. We ordered (eventually- by ordering at the bar) cod and chips. Awful. Only ate it because we were hungry and there was nothing else to change it for in a very limited menu. Our meal was over microwaved . We thought the waitress knew how bad it was. We are local but won’t be visiting again. Large party in the restaurant took precedent over diners in the bar (only us) Awful service, awful meal. If the new owners/management continue like this, they won’t be there for long. Such a shame

Had a lovely dinner hear. Homemade pies and burgers. Very nice food and drinks. Warm and attentive service.

A very rare experience we had today. We stopped off for lunch at this little gem of a pub.Wonderful welcoming staff, truly reasonably priced menu. Absolute pleasure to have dined here. Would recommend to anyone who feels it is important for good customer service and very tasty food. Look forward to returning. Weather was fab too!

Lunch on a Wednesday, not too busy, staff were good and the food was lovely and quite reasonably priced. They have a nice garden too. We will definitely be back

Lovely meal with three generations of our family. Great choice of traditional pub food and great value for money. Service was efficient and very friendly.

I ordered Rare Steak and it was cooked to perfection and the crumble was beautiful.The staff were lovely and welcoming and very helpful abiding by social distancing measures.The atmosphere was peaceful and sophisticated with the menu being set at an affordable rate.I will definitely be eating here again, all in all a wonderful dining experience.
