The Howard Arms in Stratford-on-Avon

Really enjoyed our first visit here. It was expensive, a sign of the times, but everyone enjoyed their meals. The desserts were particularly worth having if you have room. Although we sat outside in the very pretty garden, the interior was equally welcoming as we're the staff.

Impressive pub in a charming Cotswold stone village. Dog friendly, open fire, friendly locals & a super tasty vegan main course provided for me. Staff were efficient welcoming & friendly.

Cosy pub with extremely welcoming owners! We sat on the comfy chairs by the fire before getting a table for some lunch. The food was tasty and the atmosphere really chill, but it was the owners whose big smiles and friendly attitude truly made it a delight to be there.

Just returned home from a 3 night stay at this beautiful village inn. Accommodation absolutely outstanding as was the quality of the food served at both breakfast and dinner. Staff were friendly, efficient and attentive. Have nothing but praise for this place.

Relaxed and friendly dining.Don't come here if you're in a rush, but do come if you want to relax in a cosy Cotswold stone pub by a huge open fire.Don't come here if you want a quick cheap lunch, but do come if you want excellent food with reasonable portion sizes.Only reason for 4 stars is that we had a young child with us and got the impression that folks would have preferred that we didn't (not the staff, they were cool with that).

This place is a little gem tucked away in a quiet village. A warm welcome always awaits and the staff are very helpful and friendly. The food served here is amazing and you will never leave disappointed. This is now our go to place for special occasions. Highly recommended.

Popped in for a beer and snacks during a winter walk. Great reception seated near the open log fire. Good selection of beers and brilliant food. Highly recommended 👌

Cozy and welcoming pub with a beautiful fire, friendly staff and good food! Definitely order a classic like a Sunday roast or fish and chips! The nut roast was uniquely curried, if you so desire! Of course an amazing sticky toffee pudding available to finish

Absolutely stunning meal here last night. The Côte de boeuf for two was just amazing, a beautiful medium rare and so so tender. They brought us some free warm peppers to nibble on whilst we waited the 40 minutes for this fabulous dish. We shared two cores between four of us, and we struggled with the quantity, but managed to get through it! Some nice, reasonably priced Italian wine to go with it, and very attentive, friendly service. Highly recommended.

I booked dinner for 8 adults, plus a 1year old on Sat 6 Nov. Two of my party are vegan so I asked in advance if a menu could be created for them, which they did. Every single dish which we had was fantastic & the vegan menu was a real hit. The variety of the menu is excellent & the quality of the food was outstanding. We will definitely be back
