The Inn at Farnborough in Stratford-on-Avon

After a disappointing visit in the summer, Jo the owner got in touch to apologise and invited us to return, which we did yesterday. Thankfully this time we can report everything was great. The food is always lovely but the service was spot on and back to what we had expected and we were very well looked-after. Thank you to Jo and her team for making us feel welcome again. It is a gorgeous venue for their pop up (although we look forward to you being back at the pub in Farnborough).

Wow. This place is perfect blend of rustic home style and high end foodie heaven. The roast is unreal. No weak links. Farmhouse style veg with interesting addition of corn, spinach and various roasted bits but then 3 thick cut slabs of high end beef with unbelievable depth of flavour and silky softness. Can't remember a more satisfying roast. Drinks and puds great and surprisingly well priced. Great staff lovely place. Highly highly recommended

Superb place for an autumnal luncheon with friends. Lovely genuine place that just feels right. Easily accessed from the near M40 yet when your here it’s like your are in proper Cotswolds territory.The menu really hit home for me. It’s November so having a menu reflect the season with intriguing items like 24 hour smoked ox cheek and Cotswold chicken pie and other locally sourced fare was sure to be off to a good start.The food had real flavour and depth presented in vintage plates that felt right at home. To finish there were items like steamed toffee pudding and crumble.Dog friendly and being sat next to a burning log burner which was well tended to by the staff made for a great experience.Will certainly be back to try the changing menu and can’t wait to come back and sample some of the wood fired pizzas in the outdoor oven they have.

Really nice, friendly place, great beer garden. Great for eating out on sunny days. Brilliant food, amazing roast.

My partner and myself went for the first time and we both had a great time from start to finish.Nice cheerful happy chappy doing front of house, pleasant and knowledgeable.Food was nice, very well executed in presentation, seasonal flavours and portion size. Plates could have been warm though and not straight off shelf.Thought the log fire would have been going on a cold 2 degree night.Overall though a lovely time and will definitely be back

The food was of a decent standard but I felt that the starters were much better than the mains. I had the ox cheek which was far too sweet. Service however was outstanding.

This is a great little pub in the middle of no where. We initially chose to come here as it caters to primrose hill farm so wanted a trial before making wedding venue choices. The pub itself had a great vibe and the food had a great attention to detail. Puddings were amazing, main courses great and starters good. Service great too.We'll be back again with friends for sure.

Decent Sunday lunch, only thing that could of made it better was cauliflower cheese. Service pretty good but slacked a bit once it became busier. Very friendly though. Welcoming even to our dog. Would definitely return.

Stopped off for a pint here at this fine pub. We only had beer but it was excellent!
