Great food and a super cosy atmosphere, particularly after dark in the bar area. Hard to beat!

Xmas dinner was disappointing. Felt rather rushed, as if staff just wanted us to eat and go. Plus none of the staff were wearing masks which made us feel uncomfortable, given the current situation. All the veg was undercooked. Probably due to rushing the service. Nothing personal, just didn't feel it was worthy of the £90 per.head. We were told that dogs weren't allowed but then the table next to us brought their dog!made up of the landlords

Excellent food & setting. Popped in for lunch and tried the pie (steak & ale) which was outstanding. A little pricey but worth it. Can highly recommend

Staff was very polite and attentive.Pizza was divine.Well priced.The only one draw back was the table was very sticky.

Place looks nice and smily staff but don't order the pizza as they really don't know how to make it. How on earth can you get away with topping up pizza with ketchup????? That is a big fat no no no. It was late and I was tired so I had no choice to eat it but it left a strange taste in my mouth. My partner ordered fish and chips which tasted nice but it was a child's portion. Ridiculous. Won't bother next time, rather starve

Early Sunday lunch enjoyed with friends. Superb roast beef. And a seabass. Great choice if wines in a very nice dining room.modern and clean with attentive staff.give it a try. Plenty of outdoor seating undercover too

Food served all day and what food itvwas! Trio of duck was fantastic and the noodle starter was also veryvtasty. Second time the chicjen ceasar salad was not the best ive had, but really lovely staff and cosy pub.
