The Oak Hockley Heath in Stratford-on-Avon

Excellent prices, excellent staff, well prepared food. Its a bus journey away from Stratford and the Shakespeares places.. I could see it being a great getaway for couples and solos but maybe not so much for families with kids at its very off beaten and surrounded by woodland.. I'm not sure when l'll come here again but fingers crossed! It's the first hotel l really stayed at since I moved to the Midlands many years ago..I would recommend it! It's a shame the Bards bus that stopped right in front of the hotel stopped its direct route from Birmingham..!

Went for a party organised by someone else. The catering was a mess, food was very late and then the wrong meals were brought out. It was hot though and tasted fine. Nothing special, I wouldn't use them.

After getting a quote for the venue hire I went to see the venue to be told a different price even though I had the email to prove the quote! The receptionist Rachel was one of the rudest woman I’ve ever come across basically saying they wouldn’t of quoted that cheap. The manager then came and made it worse with how rude he was. Not once did they say sorry or even want to offer any help. Really let down as used this place for meals but won’t be anymore after this experience. Wouldn’t waste my money😊

AVOUD - Rude staff, especially the manager (if that’s what you call it) very unhelpful when trying to book an engagement party here. Was sent one price via email but then when we arrived to view the venue we was told that they wouldn’t have told us that price as it was too cheap.. even though we had it on email!Felt like they just wanted to argue with us rather than offer another quote, in the end they offered another quote which I told them to shove as they’re rude & unprofessional.

I was a guest at a wedding here just prior to New Year and i have to say the venue location was good, the staff were helpful and the food was good, it was a nice venue and a good crowd so yes will return and can recommend the location and good parking

Service good. Food well presented. However the roast beef was tough most likely because it was topside not sirloin as stated!

Dropped in for a quick pint yesterday. Lovely clean beer garden, families eating outside. In working clothes and staff couldn't be more helpful and polite. We were shown to a table and orders taken all within 2 minutes. Great service and staff made sure we were ok for drinks. We definitely go again

Lovely place, decor inside is lovely, plenty of car parking. Big outside seating even have deck chairs, country pub, food and drink good quality, staff very efficient. Hotel adjoined although closed due to covid at present. Good for weddings

Good hotel in a great location. Not a 5 star due to niggly little things - bar toilets - 1 no lock, 2nd broken toilet seat. Bedroom - tired decor, no AC. Upside the staff are so friendly and welcoming, food was great and hot, more importantly the beer and Cider were nicely cold on a hot evening 😁
