Despite it's position at a busy junction, this pub's beer garden still manages to be a pleasant place to spend some time. The food is a good selection of standard pub food. I had the sweet potato curry, which was not very warm (heat not spices!) but was very tasty. Aside from the beer garden, this pub's other strength is it's above average staff. The barman was knowledgeable with good customer care skills and the one guy serving food and clearing up (Alasdair) worked his socks off the whole time we were there and was pleasant and conscientious in a nicely under stated way. The pub is dog friendly.

Absolutely delicious meal in the sunshine, quick and friendly service, food was cooked to perfection and so tasty, salad was fresh. Only downside was there was no toilet paper in the women's toilets so I left without using them and being 7 months pregnant that was quite disappointing!

Just had some dinner after a full afternoon in Stratford upon Avon. All perfectly fine & well priced. Lovely outside area albeit right on the main road.

We were staying at the Premier Inn across the road and because for some unknown reason their bar was shut we thought we'd go to The Red Lion. Nice clean pub with a good selection of drinks, its just a shame that come 10pm the staff are in such a hurry for everyone to leave. We were reminded several times that last order is 10.30pm with 20 mins drinking up time. My friend ended up taking her wine with her in a paper cup, not the best experience of this pub

I don't come here that much but the food here is great and staff are helpful. I must say this is also a much nicer place to eat compared to the Rugby Tavern Cubbington. My food is always hot and cooked to perfection. I would recommend this pub.

Warm welcome, service great and good feel about the place. However, incredibly poor food at high prices.Had the cottage pie, all mash very little minced beef, came with peas and it was awful. My partner had steak and ale pie with skin on chips. The pie was so stodgy it was inedible and pastry undercooked. At 22.50, they were diabolical. Seriously a place to avoid 😢

Delicious Sunday roast lunches at a very reasonable price. Highly recommend to anyone wanting friendly service and nice atmosphere. Need to book a table really to avoid disappointment especially on a Sunday. Will definitely be back again.

We had a very nice meal here, the atmosphere was very pleasant and we sat in a cosy little corner. It wasn't over crowded and we got a table straight away.I had The Christmas burger and it was really tasty so that's one I recommend you try as it won't stay around for long!

Absolutely lovely! Great location - right across the road from where we were staying, and so close to the centre. Staff were very friendly, Jenna served us and she was very helpful with our requests! Quality of food was great - especially the s’mores desert. Service was incredibly quick at 8:15pm for the two of us. Couldn’t have been better! Really recommend
