Excellent! Visited for partners birthday. Grounds are well kept and 16th century building to die for. The staff are so pleasant and accommodating. Booked afternoon spa session-Rachel was fantastic, would recommend her for back, shoulder, neck massage. Thank you Rachel for a professional uplifting experience, you are ACE! Followed with meal in the Stuart Dining Room. Staff again proved excellent, only thing missing were fish knives with the Sea Bass main meal - Almost silver service, where is English tradition? Perfect experience, not encountered for a long while. Will be back to visit again. Thank you to everyone for a truly wonderful and memorable time. X

Excellent position but food is a bit pricey. It is however very nicely cooked and the staff were very friendly.

The food here is fabulous. Very special setting (in oak paneled hall within the manor), staff are also very professional. Perhaps the best Beef Cheeks dish I have ever had. The Crab Ravioli is also lovely.Every course (starting with the beautiful bread) was top drawer. Expect to pay commensurate with a high quality meal, bit not extortionate when considering the quality of food and kitchen/chef skill in preparing wonderful dishes.I was a resident in the hotel and had stunning views over the parkland, maze and water fountain. If you have a helicopter they also have a helipad (I didn't get the chance to use this feature!).
