The Warwickshire Lad in Stratford-on-Avon

For me only 2 stars, based on the outside as we were in the garden, the garden unfortunately covered in cigarette butts and smelt of stale smoke, food plates left out on few tables. Drunks were nice but unfortunately not for us. Inside maybe great but we have dogs so first impressions for us. May try again another day.

Great food and plenty of it! Great service and nice environment. Recommended.

2nd visit within a few weeks with a group of friends, both times bill had almost £20 added for items we hadn't had, first time we put it down to a mistake! Food good but certainly puts you off returning when you feel you're being ripped off, would strongly advise you to check your bill.

Stopped in here for a pint last night on a whim and ended up staying all evening as we really liked it.Very nice pub, the staff were all fantastic, the beer was good and the regulars were friendly.Planning to go back there for a meal as the food looked lovely.

We came with 2 friends on Tuesday for the first time. The food was excellent, and Becky our waitress was very helpful.. It is a place we will definitely return to again.

Lovely meal at the Warwickshire Lad. Food was great, staff great and nice relaxed atmosphere. We were socially distanced from other tables and hand gel available. Well done team!! Felt as safe.

We went for my birthday treat. Food was amazing as always . I always have the Jamaican chicken and its amazing!!! The waitress was so friendly and bubbly( girl with pink hair). Was so sad to see it so empty on what should be one of the busiest nights of the year . Bloody covid!!! Just hope the government do the right thing and help these businesses out before we have nothing left!!!

Food excellent and all ale great. Staff very friendly. We'll done the chef.

We went for a Sunday lunch to celebrate a birthday. We spent some time in the bar,which was comfortable and had some drinks in a pleasant atmosphere. We were shown to our table and given menus. Our beef lunch was very nice and tasty and we also had an extra jug of gravy provided upon request. Other meals were a burger and a prawn cocktail main . Both were very nice but the chips more than stand out for extra praise. Don't know how you cook them but they were amazing, crisp on the outside and fluffy on the inside . We were also provided with plates cutlery and napkins for the birthday cake that we brought with us. Altogether very good service and would recommend a visit.

Such a lovely meal here it was my Birthday meal with the family- really good choice of starters + mains. We had the Cheese garlic bread + Chicken wings- gorgeous 👍I had the Steak which was beautiful 👌Hubby + Daughter had Margarita Pizza. Everyone really enjoyed their meal + staff were really friendly + attentive-I had a lovely night + Birthday!
