Lovely stay.Fabulous room.Wonderful staffOnly downside no on site parking for my partner who has mobility issues.

Our room was smaller than I expected for the price I paid but was nice nevertheless. The staff were all friendly and helpful.

This place is a tardis. It just keeps getting bigger. I definitely want to go back here. I did not eat but the atmosphere was great and if your looking to watch the world go by its situated really well. I went to the market after scoping it out with a cheeky drink at the Swan. So many different people here, all so friendly. Will be back for the full experience.

What a place! Fantastic hotel experience. Room 104 is just a dream room; I highly recommend it (with secret stairs to the bar area). Breakfast was very tasty with plenty of choice. Having informed the hotel that it was our anniversary, I was pleasantly surprised at the delightful welcome and how my wife was greeted with some lovely treats on checking in to our room, including a personalised card. The surface car park on Windsor Street is perfect for the hotel and to access reception and actually it's good value; though it shows as £14 per 24 hours, it goes down incrementally for longer periods, so £24 for 48 hours, etc. The hotel is perfectly central for shopping, eating, and anything else. All in all, I would happily stay again. Thank you White Swan!

Better than some 5* hotels we've stayed in! The staff were fantastic & very accommodating. One of the only places we've stayed where breakfast catered to dairy free and vegetarian without having to special order.Had an issue with the room drainage after first day (not hotels fault) and we were instantly moved and updated on the issue.Location was second to none, but also quiet at night. Bathroom was luxurious. Would definitely stay again and highly recommend.

I had a very warm welcome as I entered the reception. The rooms were comfortable and clean. The shower pressure was fab. The little touches in the room, such as fresh milk and local biscuits were a lovely surprise. From start to end, the staff could not be more helpful, in the hotel and the restaurants. I would be happy to stay again... or eat at the restaurant. I would suggest booking direct as you can take advantage of a discount. It is perfectly located and you can walk to all of the sites.

Lovely hotel, very friendly staff. Room was lovely, fantastic roll-top bath! Only reason I haven't given 5 stars, the double bed was two singles put together, no issues itself, but they kept rolling apart. If going to put single beds together, then I would expect them to be attached to each other in some way.

We have just returned following a 2 night stay to celebrate our silver wedding anniversary. Everything about this hotel was fantastic from the welcome at reception to the lovely room clean and with everything you need for your stay included. The bar and restaurant are beautiful and full of old world charm and the food is delicious!!! Most of all, every single member of staff were so friendly polite and helpful without ever being intrusive .. thank you alland we can't wait to come and stay again.

Nicely positioned, easy parking. Staff very professional and obliging. Room, very good with all facilities as stated......bathroom "superb". Food very good. Unfortunately the coffee machine threw a tantrum while we were there.....hope it'll be ready for us on our next visit. In all a very relaxing 2 day break.

My partner and I had a lovely stay here. Staff were all extremely friendly and helpful. Beautiful rooms throughout the hotel, we particularly enjoyed the dining room and cooked breakfast in the morning.
