The Winged Spur in Stratford-on-Avon

Quaint little country/village pub in Ullenhall. Food very tasty, staff welcoming & decor nice. Bonus that this place is also dog friendly (manager has 2 dogs himself), very small car park though but very quiet country lane if car park full. Condensed menu due to Covid but still plenty of choices, many home made, desserts to die for!Tables socially distanced, track & trace at entrance with hand gel & all staff wearing masks, so felt very safe.

Blown away!Excellent customer service, delicious food and TONS of it. I'm a 6'6" guy, just went in after a 3h workout in the gym - couldn't finish my plate!Ribs were juicy, steak properly done, crispiest onion rings, all wrapped in the coziest feeling surrounded by friendly staff.Definitely recommend this place!

Outstanding!The food and service is amazing. Well above the pub standard I'd expect. The only thing missing missing from The Midi Grill with blue cheese sauce was a slice of bread to clean the plate. Yeah, I know it's a bit common but I'd live with the stigma.I'll be going back.

We regularly bought from here during the first lockdown. Unfortunately, the quality of food and cooking has gone down and down to this evening's frozen French fries and microwaved cheese on a wet baguette. I took one bite of the mincemeat in my burger and gave up. The gristle crunched between my teeth and the taste was off - no seasoning, just cheap meat. Really sad to see it happen.

Decided to visit Ullenhall as my mum was a land army girl in the area. Stopped for lunch and what a find. Next time will check the portion size before we order dessert.

Wedding anniversary meal welcoming staff good menu piping hot food. Just that bit different. Chatting after our very enjoyable meal staff explained can modify the menu to suit particular needs. Very reasonably priced for above average food. Will definitely be going back to enjoy the most pleasant atmosphere.

Visited on 24th May for lunch. Table booked prior to visit but not happy with area given us. Explained to waitress and she moved us to better Table, no problem. Ordered drinks, beer arrived looking very cloudy, tried it and tasted vile. Took back to bar, it was changed no problem, much better ale.We both ordered gammon, with egg and pineapple( fresh). A large meal arrived which we both devoured, my only complaint was peas were like bullets.Excellent food, service and eventually the beer..!!We will return.

Have been here a few times now. First few times lovely food and polite staff. Went with a friend on a Saturday evening didn't eat my burger was still raw pieces of mince meat in it. After being asked if there was something wrong with it my friend explained that the burger was undercooked the chef then stood staring at us. Made us both very uncomfortable. Will try again as normally very nice food

An excellent pub menu... the seating and general drinking areas are very clean and modern... but comfortable.The lunch menu on Saturday was excellent value for money and quality.The main menu seemed very expensive for a basic selection of pub foods.....But well worth a try.

Haven't been here for some years and won a meal for 2 in a Facebook competition! A lovely treat to celebrate our wedding anniversary. Staff are super, everything spotless and the food was to die for. Also reasonable prices for the quality. Hopefully we'll be able to have a return visit sometime 🙂
