Veeno in Stratford-on-Avon

The afternoon tea we had was wonderful. The service was fantastic - warm and friendly. The only downside is the place feels too dark and not very inviting. I did notice quite a few people walk in and walk back out.

Booked Afternoon Tea for my Sister and I, as a Birthday treat.Venue Great, Staff Great, Not sure what to expect for an Italian Afternoon Tea, but if you love cheese its for you. Perhaps tomato as a garnish may have helped, and possibly 2 pieces of lemon cake so we didn't have to share! It was an experience but probably won't be booking again, sorry.

I'd definitely recommend this restaurant if you're in Stratford. The food was amazing and the staff were really attentive, friendly and knew a lot about the food and drinks. Would recommend the wine tasting options that they have if you're looking for a nice afternoon.

We were a group of 9, far too loud women, doing a taste of Sicily. The platters were amazing - vegan was particularly impressed with her's, service was fantastic. Will definitely do again!

Excellent service. Went here for my girlfriends birthday, and far exceeded expectations. Service was excellent, we had wine and nibbles and the food was high quality and delicious. Great value for money and a good selection of wine. when the wine we wanted was out of stock the waiter brought over a selection of tasters for us to try to decide what else we wanted. Would 100% recommend!

We took friends visiting from up north, and had a fantastic meal. The staff were all brilliant, but our Italian waitress was amazing and educated us as to what we were eating. Such beautiful, fresh ingredients prepared different ways. It felt like a much more sociable, nutritious experience than other meals out and we will definitely be heading there again either with or without friends.

Cocktails were excellent! But we felt so rushed with our food! We hadn’t even had our starters 2 minutes before having our mains shoved at us. We felt they were very keen for a quick turnaround, I wouldn’t mind but we arrived at 7.30pm it wasn’t late and there was plenty of time. I was told upon booking that we had the table until 9pm. Yet we were still rushed! Our starter plates had not been taken away before the mains arrived again, we sent them back the first time, we were still not ready!! The mains were shoved at us again. I find this so rude, we wanted a relaxing evening but that is not what we got!The food was lovely the pasta tasted fresh and the chocolate fondant for dessert was delicious. We can’t fault any of the cocktails either.Service was just too quick, I like efficiency as much as the next person but this was rushed and not appreciated!!

We only tried the focaccia which is sadly far from a real focaccia. Staff was nice and friendly.

We went to Veeno's in Stratford upon Avon after using a wine tasting voucher given as a Christmas present. Booking it was easy. When we arrived we were met by a lovely young man called Luke. He showed us to our table and over the next 1.5 hours he shared his knowledge of some Italian wines from Veeno's vineyards in Italy. He was great and so was the wine and food which went with it. He showed us which food went with which wine. Part way through the tasting we were introduced to Marco who took over from Luke and share the last three wines. His passion showed. We had really nice time. We went back later that evening for some food and shared a bottle of one of the wines we had tasted earlier. The service was great. It was very relaxed and we were not rushed at all. We would very much recommend this place and will go back. Thank you. :)

Walked past a lot of times and finally Went there for 241 cocktails. Quality cocktails with a nice setting. Very chill atmosphere there, which is perfect for meetups and chats. The food is also good too!
