Washford Mill in Stratford-on-Avon

I do love a decent steak, and always have a Fillet, when I go to a steak house, that do them.Miller & Carter is my favorite steak house restaurant, & found out a while back. That due to the fact I have my steak well done, the best way for my steak to be cooked, is to have it butterflied.Nice surroundings & pleasant staff, but for those who have yet to experience Miller & Carter's, it's not the cheapest of places, but worth tying if you like a decent steak.

My meal was nice, the wife's meal was OK due to the fact her collie cheese was stone cold.. They apologised for it and knocked it off the bill. Noticed since last time we went the prices have gone up alot.. Our waiter seemed busy as when we asked for things it was a while before it came or he came back.. That said it'll not put us off going again...

Second time there and to say I was disappointed was an understatement. As a couple you should not be placed by a table where there are screaming kids and drunk people especially when the place had plenty of other tables available. If I wanted to be in that kind of surrounding I would go to whetherspoons where I would get what I pay for. Our fillets where more like rump steaks and our waiter just did not give us the time of day. When I wanted to complain the waiter simply just ran away. When serving us he barely said two words to us let alone check on how our meal was. We wanted a nice, quiet evening and instead we paid an arm and a leg for a disappointing steak and to be surrounded by a shouting drunk man and screaming children.

Not too bad. Visited valentines night and obviously it was really busy so expected the wait times. Juliet looked after us really well though. We both asked for well done steaks but both were pretty pink. Didn't send them back because it would have probably taken a while to sort. We could see people were getting tetchy about waiting for starters or drinks or whatever. The starters and the chocolate cake dessert were great so certainly were not hungry. Might be better on a quieter night perhaps.

Haven't been to a Miller and Carter for a good few years. When they 1st opened around south Birmingham areas they were clean trendy restaurants. But what a eye opener. Redditch Miller & Carter 1st the person in charge needs to go because the food was well 1/10 dirty and a funny smell in the restaurant. The staff were pleasant. Sorry been to many restaurants this was very very disappointing and never again will I be going to a Miller a Carter. Unbelievable really.

Another visit to celebrate my husband's birthday. As relaxed and tasty as ever. Ellie our waitress was great and helped with the relaxed atmosphere. Definitely be back with my Mum and friends who will love the mini desert and cocktail option 🤣

Just has our first Xmas day lunch at M & C. It was excellent . Service good and atmosphere Christmasy. No rush between courses so you felt welcome. Would not hesitate to book Xmas day again and would definitely recommend to others.

Tonight we had a beautiful meal at Washford Mill, the service was excellent just the right time between courses. Our waitress Jane was brilliant friendly and accommodating with a lovely smile. We have always loved Miller and Carter for the quality of their food and the warm welcome. Thank you.

Recently went here to celebrate relatives anniversary, so we decided to come down to Miller & Carter. The staff were very polite and friendly, Jane was our server she was lovely! The food was exquisite I could not complain, they serve lovely steaks here and the cocktails are excellent! They make a mean Long Island Tea! The price you pay is quite reasonable for what you get, I would thoroughly recommend coming here for a nice meal. The atmosphere is lovely to!
