Zizzi in Stratford-on-Avon

Arancini is very small should call it mini arancini instead. I have eaten arancini in Palermo and it's definitely not it. Risotto was undercooked but the flavorwas there. Wild boar ragu was far too much chilli spoil/overpower the boar, do not order it.

Reliable Italian food with good prices and a pretty extensive menu.

Our wonderful waiter Anton kindly found my friend and I a table late on Monday night when other restaurants (Carluccio’s) had turned us away. Delicious plate of pasta and impeccable service. We were made to feel really welcome. Thank you!

Extremely disappointed with the customer service. Managed to get a table for 4 and was seated quickly however we were neglected for the entire time. Waited at least half an hour before they came to take our drinks order! We decided to order food at the same time only to be told that a number of the dishes on the menu were unavailable! After eventually ordering something off the menu, there was no check back to see if we were ok, no attempt was make to see if more drinks were required. When we did get the attention of a staff member to request some more drinks, we had to ask again for these drinks when we didn't receive them. The service was absolutely appalling the only saving grace was that the pizza we order was decent shame it took an hour and a half before we got the meal particularly as the restaurant wasn't even half full.

Awful service. It was half an hour before someone came and asked us for our drinks order and they only came then because we asked them. When ordering our food we got told that there was several things on the menu they didn't have! As no point did anyone come and do any checks on how we were. We had to again go upto someone to ask for more drinks. Absolutely appalling customer service particularly when the cost of our bill was over £100.

1st grade pizzas, the best I've ever tasted, and believe me I've been to some great restaurants in Italy.Customer service was great too, super friendly and helpful!Would definitely love to come back here again, try it out if you haven't, you're bound to come back again next time!!

Booked ahead (recommend as very busy). Great food, although some portions looked small they were deceptively filling. Only gripe is that thought drinks were overpriced and all the beers and ciders were bottled. My Italian cider that was over £6 a bottle can be purchased in my local Asda 3 for £6!!!.

Some people might even dislike it.We ordered the rigatoni pesto rosso, lacks taste and flavour, cant feel the impact of the sauce on the pasta.We also ordered fries -> very abysmal portion.Some typical italian dishes are missing such as alfredo or quattro fromage are missing.Basically there’s a lack of diversity when it comes to the menu.Tl;dr: would not recommend unfortunately.

The food was lovely, hot and came out quickly. The service was a bit hit and miss. The waitress was lovely, but we didnt get the free pasta crisps (until we asked just before our starters arrived). We also didnt get fresh cutlery, so we sat without cutlery for a while when our mains arrived. We asked for pepper and parmesan which didnt arrive, so had to ask again. Otherwise, a lovely meal due to lovely food.

Fantastic meal, friendly staff. Ordering via the QR code is so fast, simple and easy. The food was delicious, we had a warm welcome from the staff. Thank you Zizzi Stratford Upon Avon we will be returning !
