Blue Water Indian Restaurant & Takeaway in Tamworth

First time we've had a poor experience here. Not sure if they were short staffed or they had overbooked ( it was very busy for a Thursday night! ) but had to wait 20 minutes for starters and then 40 minutes for the main course with the naan breads arriving 5 minutes after the curries and rice had been served. Staff didn't offer any reasons or apologies for the delays. Will think twice about booking here again.

AVOID AVOID AVOID - So we ordered 2 meals a few weeks ago for delivery and had to chase them twice, on the 2nd occasional I was told that my order was missed by the kitchen. They apologised and said my food will be with me in 15 minutes, I waited another 30 minutes and called again as it still hadn't arrived. I was then promised a free order next time by way of apology and that my order had left and should be with me any time now. It did then arrive but this was now after waiting almost 3 hours from the point of order.Today on Saturday 2nd April, we decided to take them up on the offer of a free meal and was greeted by someone saying they would never offer this and can only give me 50% off. I honestly wish I had asked for my money back from my first order now as I would not have accepted anything less. The only reason I didn't complain further or leave this review about the first order was because they were kind enough to offer a resolution of a free meal next time. As they have now negated on this offer they have lost a valued customer forever.

Look. What’s else do you need? Friendly service, yummy food, good prices… give this place a go and you will not regret it. When paired with the selection of bars that Tamworth has to offer, you can’t go wrong.

Really disappointing, this used to be a great takeaway but the last couple ive had have been rubbish. Wrong meat in dishes, chips were inedible and expensive compared to others and certainly not up to scratch anymore. Won't be using again.

We had a large family celebration meal last night with 10 people. From ordering to the food coming out and plates being cleared, everything went smoothly, we all enjoyed the food and the staff made us feel very welcome. We would definitely recommend you try Bluewater.

A warm, friendly welcome by the waiter, First time visit, went for takeaway ordered online. Fast service, ordered the special 5 course meal £14.95. Which is served 7 days a week. Great value, lovely food, will certainly be back to eat in at some point.great setting for a special night out ( Birthdays, aniversaries, etc) give them a try, you wont be disapointed!!!🥘🥘🥘. Superb 5*****. Seating provided whilst waiting for takeaway service.😁

Amazing staff, amazing food and a very clean restaurant. Overall experience was great. I Highly recomend this place for a nice evening out.

Visited for the first time due to positive reviews. Very pleasant experience indeed. Being a Friday, we booked ahead via the website and got a call back to confirm a few hours later. Service was excellent. We got seated and served within minutes of arrival. They no longer serve alcohol but there is a co op just round the corner. It says 5 course meal is 14.95 but it's servings rather than courses (papadoms and dips, starter, main, rice and nan). Staff were polite and prompt. I had nargis kebab, garlic chilli lamb and garlic naan. Starter was a very decent nargis, main was fresh, hot, spicy and filling. Naan was crispy on the edge and fluffy inside. All in all a great experience, well worth a return visit and great value. Nearby parking is free after 6pm.

First visit to this curry restaurant, excellent service, we ordered the set menu 3course meal for under £12.great value. Very well presented, very tasty could not fault it. We were shown upstairs to a small table for 2 which we asked for, and served by a very helpful&sweet waiter named Kadir! Will visit again..
