Frankie & Benny's New York Italian Restaurant & Bar - Tamworth in Tamworth

I ordered 'bbq wingz' and Mediterranean salad, to be served together as a main meal, and the hot cookie dough.The salad came and I was told they were out of the wingz. I was offered another main at half price. So I had a baked pasta dish. Both were very nice.Staff were friendly. Only thing I have to say is, it would have been better to tell me when I ordered, not when they brought the Mediterranean salad. I would have cancelled the hot cookie dough as I was stuffed!

Not been to F & B's for a while as our local has closed down. Think I understand why... went out for a Birthday meal for our daughter, both wife and daughter are Coealic and therefore strict Gluten Free. Had the gf menus, to cut a long story short one meal came out with fries which are not GF. Luckily we double checked but should not have to!!! Other feedback, they had no butter in which meant all the jacket potatoes were hard, the food was not warm either. Service was great though and waitress helped us with our issues. Place has been transformed from the old authentic look to more of an open mcdonalds..

Just don't!!After a 3hr drive, this was the most convenient place to eat at 8pm on Sunday night.Ordered the New York BBQ chicken with a half rack of ribs.The chicken was bone dry, the bacon was under cooked (and mainly fat), quite impressive how they managed that. The ribs had no sauce what so ever and were drier than the chicken.There were only 3 other tables, but took ages to arrive, really no excuse for it being so dry.If we hadn't been in the car for 3hrs, there is no way I would've touched it, and certainly wouldn't have paid for it.This was honestly the worst meal I have ever had in a UK restaurant.

Hands down theeee best Frankie and Bennys I’ve been too in the country! From the second we walked in we were greeted by two lovely smiley managers, one of whom asked us how our day had been, which I thought was lovely as it added a personal touch. Although the restaurant was pretty full, seeing as it was a Friday night, the staff could not have been more helpful, drinks were brought out promptly by an extremely enthusiastic bar tender, and order taken by a very polite blonde lady, didn’t catch her name but I remember her mentioning she was from Essex. Great service all round so thank you. Onto the food….. I ordered the Lasagne and my wife ordered the Chicken Parmigiana. Both were exceptional, great taste, great portions and great value for money! Overall we had such a lovely meal and are already looking forward to our next visit! Thank you team Tamworth for providing my wife and I with an unforgettable experience!!!!

We went for an early tea just before cinema to have a quick bite to eat.It always quite nice in there,although the toilets need to have some hot water and warm hand dryer,you cannot wash properly with cold water.We had tea about 4.30 not a time I would really want to visit again due to the noise from the children ipads on tables next to us,I swear it was louder than the cinema!! I get that it helps with children but you could at least think of others in the restaurant..it did spoil our dining experience.The food was of good quality as per norm.We both enjoyed what we ate,we were going to have dessert but left because of the noise.3 stars were for the food not the dining experience or bathrooms.

Our experience at Frankie and Benny's went from great to absolutely horrible. This was our third time ordering from here. The first time was amazing, tasty food, fresh and hot which made us want to order from them again. Second time was a let down. Main ingredients were missing from my burger but atleast the majority of the burger was still good.Wanting a repeat of the first really good experience we tried it again tonight. What an absolute let down. My burger looked as of it was reconstructed from someone else's leftovers. There wasn't even cheese sauce or Mac n cheese on the Mac and cheese burger. Really disappointing. I would definitely not recommend. We'll definitely not be spending that much money on such a disappointing meal again.

Table booked for 7.15 pm, when we arrived inly half the table was ready. The other half of the table was not ready until an hr later ! This was booked for 14 people and was a surprise for a birthday. The meal was bog standard. The waiter (ben) was great he looked after us. The tables should have been available when we arrived as I booked it a few weeks before so we'll in advance.

Ordered click and collect but had to wait an extra 15/20 minutes. The manager, I'm assuming, was very apologetic and even gave me a complimentary drink for my wait. Staff were super friendly too! Food was delicious, we will definitely be back 😋

Literally just leaving here!Have not visited in a long long time! We booked a table earlier today for 6.30pm the layout Is completely different a lot more open and the menu has changed too so many new additions!The cocktails were fabulous and the food amazing! Honestly so disappointed we didnt visit sooner!We will definitely be back and Don was our server.... hes amazing too! My daughter is shy and he couldn't do more for us or her trying to get her to talk to him! 100% an asset to the business!Absolutely amazing from start to finish thank you all so much xx
