Me and my husband came here for breakfast earlier this week and brought the kids for dinner today. Both times were lovely. Staff pleasant and helpful and food delicious 😋 And to the lovely waitress that gave me some meat scraps for the dogs - you're a legend!

We came for a meal to celebrate my birthday, there was 17 of us in total, and we had a fabulous time. Food was excellent, hot and plenty of meat on the plate (not always the case in some carveries) Our waitress was Mandy and she made the occasion extra special. Her service was brilliant and she interacted with all the children. Nothing was too much trouble for her. Thank you for a lovely evening 😀

Such great value breakfasts where they can actually cook an egg and hash brown properly unlike the brewsters and haversters places do ( in general ) Hate having snotty eggs!! Would be nice to have some fruit juice on offer with the breakfast but you can order that separately.

Greeted by male who directed us to our booked table, and then said nothing else to us, and left us there. We waited for about 5 to 10 minutes And decided to approach the bar.Waited another five minutes and was greeted by a pleasant lady who Took our money, gave us our drinks, and gave us directions as to how the breakfast buffet operates and is located. We filled our plates with a selection of cooked breakfast “stuff”Sausages, dry and tasted chaulky.Bacon was poor and undercooked.Eggs, underdone and Of poor quality.Hash browns, nice and crispy.Fried bread, exploded when pressed with a fork!Tinned tomatoes. Perfect 👍🏼I would give it two stars because the lady who took our order was very friendly and was working hard keeping the place tidy. And her off duty colleague also seem very friendly even though not working.

It was alright, you get what you pay for. Good selection of vegetables and the meats were tasty. I do find you get more meat at other well known carveries though. Overall a decent experience and I would go again. Also been here since for the all you can eat breakfast, again a decent experience. Food was okay, I've never understood why you have to pay extra for a spoon full of mushrooms though. Only did fried egg, there was no option to have scrambled which I was disappointed with. The breakfast pizza was delicious and the sausages are also really tasty. Would definitely return!

Chelsea was a ray of sunshine on a wet stormy Sunday afternoon. She was very friendly and made sure we had everything we needed. She explained that she was training and checked in with us regularly to confirm our order. The carvery had a variety of meat and vegetables all cooked to a good standard. The red wine (shiraz) tasted quite expensive and was a god choice. Five star visit to my favourite local carvery. Made all the more nicer by our server. Well done Chelsea.

I've been here a number of times now and each time I go I get more disappointed. We tend to go in the week for a quick roast and a couple of drinks and there is usually a good 6-10 of us and we have always been disappointed 😞 whether it be they gave us the wrong table, no potatoes on or simply they completely forgot about us it just gets worse every time. I cannot comment on a Sunday and I've heard good things but for us during the week I'm sorry I just wouldn't go there again.

This evening we had a fantastic meal the food was tasty and such great value for money but we have to give a massive thank you to Mandy your lovely, kind, employee went above and beyond to welcome us and look after our every need, Mandy even put a candle in our sons pudding as it was his birthday, this is amazing customer service and if every company had a Mandy working for them then the world would be a better place. Thanks again for lovely evening

Glad to see this large pub and restaurant with impressive beer garden open.Positives:Good service; large menu; large beer garden. Not so positive was the 61 Deep craft beer. In fairness, a member of the team topped it up because it went flat too quickly.May return and try the breakfast.

Staff very friendly, helpful and fully masked during this dreadful time. Food excellent as always. Nice outdoors area overlooking the nature reserve. Kid friendly and dogs allowed in garden too. Two drinks (pint of bitter and a latte), one traditional carvery and one large carvery £25. Very good value for money
