Called in at lunchtime got cone of chips plus normal portion, literally both portions were so small, prices gone up portions massively reduced won't go again

Woman who was in there was very rude when I was ordered she said ‘PLEASE’ to correct my manners and I hadn’t even finished talking. Prices are very high mixed meat and chips is £7 the. They charge an extra 50p for salad? Isn’t salad part of a kebab. You cannot order a smaller option so if you want a kebab it’s large or nothing. I went outside to get some air and the food was ready (just two meals by the way which I would carried) she then gave the food to my girlfriend and said rudely “he left you do carry that” it’s a shame because the food was actually quite nice but as I’ve come home fuming it’s a 1 star no clue about hospitality

Very poor customer service. Tried charging me £1.10 for salad. Prices charged didn't reflect what was on the price board.

Absolutely terrible, no other word to describe it. I decided to buy the lunchtime special micro fish and chips and I found four pieces of bone in the fish, not one, not two, not three but four pieces. The owner and those who work for him behind the counter seemed bemused seeing a person of colour, I kinda get that given that it’s Tamworth but the basics of customer service is a smile which is free. Should have read the reviews before visiting, never again, just disgusting and I’m really hoping I don’t get food poisoning based on other reviews.

By far the best chip shop in Tamworth the staff are very friendly and happy and the chips are to die for and as for the sauces and kebabs well I suggest you try them all you wont be disappointed keep up the good work

We always use them, usually yum ! Tonight was very mediocre as was previous visit. Fish had far too much batter, chips bit dry, curry sauce nice and peas ... nuclear green ! The shop is always clean and the staff lovely and friendly. Why is there no one in on a Friday evening ?

If I could rate this with 0* I would. It's horrendous! Chips were clearly refried from the day before and had no potato left inside them! They were too hard and were inedible. The chicken tray was a small although I ordered a large (we always have a large). When I called to complain I was basically accused of being a liar as they said it only comes in a small tray. As I said we always have a large, we share it amongst the family with chips. The customer service is as bad as their chips! They take for granted that there is no other chippy close by and think they can serve anything! It's about time stonydelph had a new chippy and put these con artists out of business!! Disgusting.
